Bäckaskog Slott

Mycket bra frukost, äggröran extra bra,trevlig personal som pratar och känner igen oss . Vi åker till skånska operan varje år sen 20 år och 8ggr minst har vi bott på bäckaskog. Iddagen i restaurangen var utmärkt.

I år vädret😉 vi brukar bada och ha pickick p kvällen efter operan i trädgården. Fick ha den inomhus i år.

Overall it's a great place, but I think it's very much a summer destination. This time of year (late March) there is not much to do, the gardens and tress are all sleeping, so nothing is growing, so there is not so much to do.

The breakfast and hotel overall both have EXYREMELY high ratings, which I think are much higher than reality. It's definitely not a bad place to stay, but the breakfast is average at best, 'American style' pots of coffee which were always cold, and buffet food that was good, but certainly not "exceptional" as the ratings state. Our beds were also very soft which we found uncomfortable and there is very little in the surrounding areas, so other dining options are very limited.
