Fantastic Stay! Beautiful Hotel and Exceptional Service!

We had an amazing stay! The hotel was absolutely beautiful and had such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely made us feel at home. Breakfast was fantastic—fresh, delicious, and wonderfully varied. The pastries were a highlight, all baked on-site and absolutely irresistible! We also loved that eggs were prepared fresh exactly the way we ordered. Arriving to a welcome plate with tasty pastries and fresh fruit in our room was such a delightful touch. Our room was spotless and came with a spacious balcony overlooking the river—just perfect for relaxing. The location couldn’t be better! It offered everything we hoped for: stunning views of the forest, mountains, and river all in one place. We truly loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Excelent experience

First of all we found the owners who were working in the hotel very gentle and helpful. We liked the fact that the hotel had several spaces for parking your car in-front of entrance. Additionally, for people like us that needs a very good breakfast to start the day the breakfast was amazing with quality. We could see the difference even in the juices that was in the buffet. The location was great as it was near the waterfall and you could walk directly there. It took as 25 minutes to arrive on foot.

Nothing to not like. It was simply very good. Hope we would have a chance in the future to go again there.

Fabulous

Everything, every little attention from start to end of our stay was really appreciated : we had a discount for the thermes, there was sparkling water, an apple and some pastries that were waiting for us in the room when we first got there! It was spacious and comfortable, the balcony with the stream right under our feet and calmness of the place, the BREAKFAST was truly a feast, the location is good : three really good restaurants nearby, many hiking trails with waterfalls very close to the hotel, and it’s a 10 minutes ride to the city center and the thermes.

The bed is a bit hard for our taste but we slept good still. Maybe the price is a bit much but the quality is here, I guess this is because every hotel in the region is high budget anyway

Wonderful.

Beautiful small hotel, family owned. Welcoming and friendly. Breakfast room was large and light. Breakfast was a wide range of different foods, anything the heart desires, including eggs and coffee/tee made to order. Can rival any 5 Star hotel.

Friendly hotel with very generous breakfast

Very good communication with the property regarding late check-in. The rooms were spacious. The breakfast was generous and of a very high-standard. The hotel was located near Baden-Baden but was in a quiet location with a village-feeling. Several restaurants within walking distance for evening-meals.

That we only stayed one night! We were passing through and plan to return for a longer stay sometime soon.

Perfect home from home experience that made our visit to the area extra special

Absolute gem. Perfect home from home. Wonderful traditional unspoilt family run establishment that was so welcoming after a long motorcycle ride. Even our bike was well looked after. Having no restaurant isn’t an issue as it contributes to the homely feeling and plenty of places to eat if you hop on the bus to Baden Baden right outside or walk just down the road.

A gem in the forest

Amazing hotel! Comfortable spacious room, calming sounds of a river, lots of elegant well thought out details in interior creating a unique atmosphere. Excellent service. On top of that, the breakfast can be the reason on itself to stay at this hotel - 5 start hotels could hardly match the quality and variety! Next time coming back for longer than one night.

Lovely hotel. Perfect for our stopover on the motorcycles, which were in the garage overnight. Super clean accommodation with an amazing breakfast choice. The staff were very friendly, with a warm welcoming. Thank you.

Short Stay, Wonderful Memories

We needed a little getaway to rest, explore and reconnect. This place was perfect for that. Breakfast on Sunday morning was beautiful and delicious. The staff met our needs and care truly for their guests. We explored the region by taking a hike on the Oberkircher Brennersteig trail. Highly recommend as it's a Schnapps "tour." Absolutely wonderful! We will be back here again!

The toilet could be tightened down. The door to the room needs a little oil so it doesn't squeak.

Staff is exceptional! BREAKFAST is good! Hotel is very quiet and has its own very unique style! Old "music box" mechanic machine still working was a pleasure to listen to. Parking near hotel is comfortable.

A stay here is a must, when in Baden Baden

What did I like? I like everything, very clean and comfortable room, and the view from the balcony was pretty nice. The staff was incredible and the breakfast was unexpectedly good.

Location is not the greatest although is close enough to town there is nothing near you, the drive to town is about 20min. I didn't have the time to go but some hiking and waterfall is near by, I guess is a trade in between shopping or nature.

Great hotel, lovely lady from staff, wide range of options for breakfast. We loved the place and the room was everything what you need. Even our big van fitted in to the car park;) Shame that we only stayed for 1 night... Definitely would come back :)

The location is easily accessible by bus but check the schedule, the bus runs every hour or so. There's nothing to complain or write home about regarding the hotel room - it meets expectations. Breakfast was great - large selection at the buffet.

Comfortable, friendly, amazing breakfast.

New enthusiastic and friendly owners. Breakfast was probably one of the best and varied breakfasts I've had in a long time. Do not yet provide evening meals but made a reservation for us in one of the local hotels within walking distance where we had a lovely meal. Beautiful waterfall walk nearby to one of Germanys biggest waterfalls. lots of other walks. we will definitely come back to this area and explore it further.
