Nate's Place Backpackers Sydney

Nate’s Place feels like coming home for lots of people. Nate’s was my very first hostel and, as it turned out, my last one too. I find the atmosphere in the hostel really welcoming. The rooms are neat and tidy, and the team are really lovely! Every day they organise a fun activity to help people get to know each other. The facilities are brilliant, especially the ladies’ bathroom! During my stay, I was always helped in a friendly and professional manner by Teagan at reception! A brilliant experience!

When there were a lot of people there during peak times, it could get quite noisy in the TV room

In a very good location within the city. There was a bus station right outside, and a train station not so far.

It was a little loud at night, we could hear what was maybe plumbing, or some kind of water pouring down the first night. But this was not as much of an issue the second night.

The staff is not responsible whatsoever, it feels like its just a house of volunteers living in it and everyone who doesn’t speak Spanish gets a rude attitude. They want you to have everything in bags in the fridge, however there is absolutely no space since all the volunteers who live in there just use all the space up. Super loud and no hostel etiquette.
