    Really great stay at this hostel, really clean and local is good for getting around Sydney, would definitely come back!

    Firstly, check in was easy and staffs were nice and friendly. Was upgraded to a 6 bedder from 8, hence I was grateful for that. Breakfast contained of cereal, bread with assorted jam/spreads. Once in a while, there are toasties (bread + cheese + ham) and pancakes which were all delicious and made fresh by the staff. No issues with my roommates during my 11 day stay. Everyone was respectful and quiet. Room was organised and well maintained by the staff and roommates. Toilet was slightly run down with toilet flush button falling off but it is still flusable. No issues with showering. Though, I would recommend a anti-slipping mat on the bath tub as it can be quite slippery and fall-inducing. Noted 1-2 small cockcoaches that emerged at night in the middle of my stay in the toilet but it didnt bother me as they were small. Did hear some noises/commotion from the other rooms and sometimes quite rowdy closer to midnight but hey, it is a hostel and it is kind of expected. Safety wise pretty good nothing to complain. Overall a decent stay.

    The room had an unpleasant smell, partly because of some of the guests staying there, but also due to the lack of cleanliness. The small kitchenette in the room was disgusting, with dirty dishes left behind and overflowing trash bins. The bathroom also looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly for quite some time. The staff were friendly and helpful, but in terms of comfort, I wouldn’t recommend this hostel. Although the location is very convenient, there was a lot of noise coming from the street, and I personally found it difficult to sleep. I’m usually not someone who is easily bothered by noise, which made it even more noticeable.
