Great hotel close to the gondola
Great hotel a short bus ride from the gondola. Staff were super friendly & accommodating & the room was a great size, very comfortable. As everyone says the afternoon snack is actually a 3 course meal & very tasty. Highly recommend
Only thing that could have been improved were the pillows , bit lumpy & not comfy & single duvets that were a bit scratchy.

Amazing Amazing hotel. The staff was very helpful and nice. The room was beautiful . The location is very good. The food was great. Definitely a place that I would like to visit again.

The jause is really an outstanding concept I have not seen before and was very much appreciated.
Rooming was great for travel with two teenage kids. Nice entertainment possibilities in the room. Breakfast was good but the "jause" was exceptional. It goes for a "tinner" as a combination of tea&dinner. Flavoured water included, sweets, jause, hot meal nothing to be left to desire.
The seating area downstairs around the bar, and the bar itself closed down early, 2130 at the latest. Starting dinner at 1600 with the Jause still left plenty of room to get something.

Excellent hotel with friendly helpful staff
Very friendly, helpful hotel. Staff are great and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent and loved the free evening snack buffet of cakes, cheese and pasta. Just what we needed after a hard day's hiking on the Adlerweg. Room was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended

Mountain view hotel in the Austrian alps for outdoor people (ski, hiking etc.)
The room had a fantastic balcony view on the mountain chain. The hotel was located in the center of Scheffau with a parking lot. I did not test all the facilities of the hotel, I might have missed a huge breakfast buffet among other things.
The hotel had this off season feeling: much space and currently few guests when I was there mid-June. I was given an introductory speech with lots of information (time windows and options) I would have preferred to have in written form. The most important information about check out time (10:00) was not given to me (or drown in other information), as I found out the other day. When I wanted to carry my luggage back to the nearby car with intention to hand over the room key after that and obviously before leaving, I felt pressured to carry my whole luggage (heavy) to the reception several rooms further. The staff apparently wanted to make sure 100% I would pay the city tax of 2,5 EUR and give them back the key (my Visa had already been charged with the room). This felt awkward, I did honestly not appreciate that checkout experience. The woman apologized nevertheless when she realized she had pushed it a bit too far.

Beautiful, comfortable and delicious!
The view from the room was amazing, with a nice balcony to relax and enjoy it. Lots of space in our triple room to spread out. The robes are so comfortable you won’t want to take them off! The “evening snack” can be dinner if you time it right!

Friendly staff, Perfect for an overnight stay in Scheffau
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well-prepared, and the dining area was spacious and well-maintained. The room was excellent.
