Lake Forest Lodge has a breathtaking view of Keuka Lake and is nestled on 3.5 acres of pines and hardwoods. This property has the best of both worlds as it also has lake frontage. The cabin has 3 levels: the main floor has a great room with gas fireplace, cozy eat-in kitchen, and spacious dining room that seats 10 comfortably. These rooms face the lake and boast an amazing view of Keuka Lake. Also located on the main level are 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. The lower level includes a sitting area with full size sleeper sofa, a bedroom, a full bath, spare fridge and washer and dryer. The third floor open loft has a charming log-framed bed. There are several large decks for relaxation and gathering for meals with family and friends in a private setting. LFL is located on the hillside across the road from the lake, which provides secluded and peaceful surroundings. Note: The lake frontage is accessed by walking or driving down our 'steep' driveway, crossing the road and continuing down the common/steep driveway where we have available 2 parking spaces. Approximately 50 stairs will lead you to the scenic deck and private dock.

Browse through the antique and gift shops. Take a ride to The Windmill Farm & Craft Market or visit the Indian Pines Farmer's Market for homemade pies, pastries, jellies, fruits and veggies. Watkins Glen Raceway and State Park are approximately 30 minutes away. Take the kids go-cart racing, hiking or biking on the local trails. Watercraft rentals are available at the local marinas.

The cabin was beautiful. Plenty of room and bathrooms for all 6 of us. The deck was gorgeous, we ate all our meals on it.

Our Cajun Ladies had a wonderful stay. The Finger Lakes are beautiful. The house accommodated us and we so enjoyed being on the deck with the majestic views.

A nice size cabin with plenty of room to spread out and a great view of the lake. Close to Hammondsport for groceries and a little souvenir shopping.

House has great gathering areas for family. Kitchen was well equipped. The lake is beautiful and very clean. However, the house only has two actual bedrooms. (Main level and one in the basement.) The main level has one BIG bedroom (king bed) and one small bedroom with a full size bed, is just larger then a closet with a bi-fold door and not much privacy. The loft space above the main level never gets cool and the basement bedroom is small, always cold, and the bed was broken and very wobbly. The large deck was great for family but it was pretty dirty. There is very little outdoor lighting on the main deck and none on the side deck. The driveway has some outdoor lights but we could not find the switch all week. The gas grill was filthy and took a lot of scraping to be able to use it. The burners barely lit due to all the debris clogging the holes. Lake access is not fun. The house driveway is gravel and VERY steep and winding. There is another steep driveway across the street and then the stairs. Parking a car down by the stairs is very difficult. We didn't bother. Dock has screws sticking up and the kayaks were dirty.
