Good price for a budget stay.

Good price for a budget stay. Burger King next to the hotel and McDonald is within walking distance.

The floor in the room was not very clean. The toilet/bathroom is quite small. Probably easy to get here with cars but not with public transportation.

Nothing! It was disgusting!

They need to clean that whole place properly from floor to ceiling ! It was disgusting, the beds had bed bugs in without a doubt! We all felt it! And the floor was dirty the laundry didn’t look clean.

booked in advance at £136 and was charged£157. no explanation from staff.Unexpectedly expensive. Had 3 other overnight stays at BandB Hotels and price was almost as quoted when booking. I am aware that prices can fluctuate with exchange rate but not that much as we stayed the previous night at Aschaffenburg

Ok just for 1 night, but far away from everything

McDonald’s, Burger King, subway and other shops are open late around this area, so you won’t run out of food or essentials. They also have a vending machine for drinks inside the hotel. Evening staff (a young blonde lady) was super friendly, wishing us good night and being very helpful, she was the best and friendliest receptionist we encountered in Germany so far.

Too far away from anything if you are not using a car. The hotel is inside a service station and 16 minutes away from the next tram stop, trams are not frequent to this location either. The mirror in the room was broken and glued together by some tape? The carpet is very itchy and rough. Bed is ok, not the best, we also didn’t see any channels in English. There are no amenities in the room other than 2 paper cups, but no kettle, tea or coffee.

It was OK.

The hotel was comfortable and provided what we needed for an overnight stay. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel wasn't what we were expecting as we thought it would have been closer to the town of Frechen and not on the outskirts in an industrial estate. We were hoping to get a bus or a train to Köln, as we were under the impression that it was a fairly straightforward thing to do, but it was a good half hour walk to the train and bus station which left it a little late to journey into Köln. I suppose we should have done a bit more research ourselves to get a more realistic view of the location of the hotel.

Very good breakfast for a fair price (10.5 Euros). Free parking with enough slots in a quiet area. The location is very close to the Autobahn.

The bathroom and shower are very tight. We arrived after midnight, but the check-in was very slow.

Price was the driver, we wanted a base for going into town for the Christmas markets. We arrive by car in the afternoon and I was pleasantly surprised by the room (split over 2 floors with 2 singles upstairs and a double downstairs. The arrival process was smooth and it's located next to a service station with an American-style restaurant and shop with a small cafe servicing a limited menu of pizzas and a couple of other items. The shop sells beer/snacks and the usual also. Oh and good old McD's and Burger King are within touching distance (literally!) The location is a good 15-20 min walk from a tram station (not much fun in the cold) - however in good traveler spirits we managed to find a stop and travel into the town to see the Christmas Markets, which well worth the visit - however, DO NOT GO ON A WEEKEND DAY - you will not be able to move and it's ridiculously busy. Hotel even had a few local takeaway flyers on the table if you want to order something in.

The hotel doesn't provide any sort of key - it's a key code (strange) and I noticed that unless the door was properly closed it didn't 100% catch - all sorted with a good push! The toilet/shower was VERY small and even being careful I thought I would need to part the Red Sea when I got out (apologies to the maid who had to deal with a soaking wet bath matt).... Located opposite a commercial shopping area it's not pretty, it's more industrial, but it served it's purpose and I'd certainly stay again based on the price.

Very dangerous for a longer stay because of the electricity pylon.

Breakfast and Cleanliness. We really liked the Breakfast and Cleanliness of the room. There was a variety of choice for breakfast with fruits, eggs, and other delicious meals. The Room was clean and dirt free.

The electricity pylon was directly in front of our room. It had a bad impact on our well-being. We both felt dizzy while walking on that floor and while the window was open. It is very dangerous to stay longer in this location.
