McCareys Loanen Holiday Home

A stunning, spacious hidden gem on the Antrim Coast! McCarey’s Loanen is a beautiful, contemporary, and immaculate home-from-home offering great value. Its quiet yet central location near Larne is perfect. As a multi-generational family, we loved the spacious layout, total privacy, and very comfortable beds. Having two bathrooms was ideal, especially the safe, accessible double shower room for those with mobility issues. The large private parking space right outside was also extremely convenient. The breathtaking, unrestricted coastal view completely blew us away—an absolutely magnificent panorama that was just amazing and so peaceful, and the garden so well equipped to just sit, relax and take it all in! Linda gave us an incredibly warm welcome on arrival. We arrived a little tired after a few days of travelling around, with very little time before meeting family locally....the complimentary groceries kindly left for us completely saved our first day! Every part of the house was well-equipped, and checking out for our early flight home was completely straightforward. Linda and Stuart truly go above and beyond, make sure you can contact them if needed, but also ensure your complete privacy. We are so grateful that we discovered this stay and highly recommend it if you are in this part of the country - right on the edge of the stunning Antrim Coastline and yet central for Belfast Airport. Beautifully decorated & furnished. Attention to detail was 101% The treat tray was very thoughtful and well received. Very clean. Outside was well maintained and the views were outstanding.

The views are stunning. The property is well appointed, is in a good location and instantly evokes a sense of calm. Linda was an exceptional host, her communication prior and during our stay was second to none. She had kindly left us milk and a tray of ‘goodies’ she met us in person to explain everything and advised us to message/call if we had any questions. We would recommend this property for its beautiful views, excellent host and very comfortable beds.
