Almost perfect

Loved the ability to easily get to the WW2 highlights, used the apartment as a base. It was quiet and peaceful. Very clean.

I was unfamiliar with operating many of the appliances, so more detailed instructions would have been helpful, especially since we know limited French. Need better lighting in family room and kitchen.

Good choice for centre of town.

This was an excellent located apartment right opposite war museum. Very spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Good value for money. Beds and linen comfortable. Private parking at back of building.

Would have got excellent if all internal doors were conventional and not sliding. Also please note you have to pick keys up from Bayeux.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here. The location is just excellent

Perfect location, literally right in the heart of Arramanches. It has free off road parking around the back which is very handy. Great kitchen / coffee machine/ dishwasher Nice dinning table and modern lounge area. The beds were vey comfy too

Well designed apartment

Well designed, spacious apartment. My kids loved the loft! I was worried about the shower from previous reviews, but maybe it's renewed? We could take good showers. The private parking was very handy. The sea is in front of the apartment,there are shops and restaurants in the walking distance.

We had some small issues (heating, TV). The staff tries to support, but it couldn't be solved before our departure, but it's minor issues, so it's okay. We had to dispose gabages by ourselves in the location shown in the information, but it was closed. The window was very dirty. Even the apartment doesn't have a nice view anymore, it can be cleaner. The toilet doesn't flash very well, you need to wait

I travel a lot and like it. To different corners of Europe, most often to France, to Normandy. I have hyperosmia and here I found a place where I can breathe fantastically. This time my journey is a bit special, I have a tough health battle ahead of me and before that the doctors advised me to enjoy the spring. So I wanted to go see where I like it the most. I chose this apartment from the accommodation. And I don't regret it. It was an excellent choice. I don't like it, in Czech we have a word for "overdue" things. Something like excessive luxury and a mess behind it. This apartment is one beautiful, cozy place to spend time in. Nicely cleaned, nice bathroom, kitchen, nothing is missing here. From the windows there is a nice view of the ocean, the museum and the main street. What more could you ask for :-) I also have to praise the staff, they are great. I hope that if everything goes well, I will come back here.

Not recommended because of Agency attitudes

Comfortable apartment in great location and with private parking

Keys have to be collected from Bayeux, bossy agency staff, threats of 50 euros fines for all sorts of things which should be dealt with by the agency/owner not the guest, poor water pressure, variable wifi and tv, lack of instructions for equipment and dealing with rubbish etc. Not very well cleaned with lots of cobwebs. Sea view is blocked by new museum directly opposite. Overall not recommended, which is a shame because it's a nice place.

Lovely apartment.

Beautifully presented, comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. Handy off street parking behind the apartment (which my friend greatly appreciated as his car is kind of on the big side). Close to several restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a bit of an issue getting the keys because we didn’t realise we had to go to Bayeux to get them (about 20 minutes drive away). But to be fair, that was our own fault as it said that in the emails from booking.com and we just didn’t spot it.

A lovely appartment in an historic part of Normandy.

Very spacious for two people and nicely decorated. Excellent facilities if you prefer to go self catering. A good choice of restaurants nearby, particularly if you like seafood. The hosts were just a phone call away and very accommodating as we arrived quite late in the day. The private parking behind the apartment is a bonus. The location is excellent, you are right in the heart of the town centre.

Only little negative is the new museum built in front of the apartment. It used to be just a car park but now most of it is now taken up by the new building. But it didn’t impact our stay at all.

Big appartment, perfect location

It’s a spacious apartment, well equipped and lovely decorated. The view is amazing. Just a walking distance from a nice bakery (you have to try the chocolatine ;) ) and a few restaurants. Parking is a big plus! Apartment is located in the middle of al the D-day hotspots.

We arrived in the evening, dying for some coffee, but they don’t provide a few cups (good to know: dolce gusto machine) or some tea. Same for enough toilet paper (1 role for 5 days). Dishwasher was broken, they didn’t fix it during our stay. Some things (like the coffee machine and dish brush) were really gross. I’ve sent them a photo and they apologised because of the new concierge. When they fix these things, it’s an amazing place to stay!

Excellent location, wonderful view of sea front, clean, well equipped and comfortable apartment, the bedrooms are on the back so it's quiet at night.

The bedrooms are small, the bed is difficult to get in from the sloping side of the wall, had to bend over to get into bed; kept bumping our backs against the wall or window edges. It's not fun.

Appartement spacieux, place de parking très apprécié surtout quand il y a du monde, vue sur la mer depuis une fenêtre. C'était le petit truc en plus qui était appréciable

Vitres très sales. Cela serait bien de shampouiner fauteuil, repose pied et canapé en tissus car tâches. Cela ne fait pas propre. Il faudrait que le ménage soit fait dans la mezzanine

Séjour au top

L’emplacement, face au musée d’Arromanches est parfait. Place de parking privative. L’appartement était très propre à notre arrivée et tel que décrit dans l’annonce. Le service de conciergerie était au top.

Les seuls points négatifs éteint le manque de sel/sucre, la taille du frigo et il n’y avait pas de couteau de cuisine (ceux qui coupent vraiment pour cuisiner)

Il a fallu jonglé avec les accessoires de cuisine pour pouvoir faire à manger.

Belle décoration. Bien placé. Place de parking privé trés utile.

Le manque de vaisselle et de casseroles, pas adapté pour 4 personnes. Le réfrigérateur est trés petit pour 4 personnes. Le manque d'éclairage dans la pièce de vie et dans la cuisine. L'absence de réaction du propriétaire quand nous avons demandé plus de vaisselle (il n'y avait que 3 assiettes plates, une mini poêle et pas de faitout.

Emplacement top mais déçu par le reste.

L' emplacement proche de la plage et du musée de la guerre, restos....La place de parking privée.

Pas de chauffage (3 radiateurs sur 4 ne fonctionnent pas) à notre arrivée (15 degrés), on nous dit que le problème est connu et que ce ne sera pas réparé. La chasse d eau fuir... Les chambres petites en sous pente, le frigo très petit, peu de points de lumière le soir c est sombre. Après beaucoup d'insistance (et une réclamation sur Booking), on nous apporte du chauffage d' appoint.
