    Good, comfortable hotel, nice room, fab breakfast, nice evening meal, friendly staff especially the waiting staff and bar staff. No lifts, which made 2 flights of stairs a little difficult, but overall, a good place to stay.

    On the morning I arrived one member of staff saw me come in and didn’t acknowledge me at all, when her colleague came in she was fantastic lovely smile and couldn’t do enough she was really good at her job, the other lady just couldn’t be bothered. The room was very hot with no air conditioning or even a fan. Bedside table was dusty and the lamp was also very dirty. Bed was down on one side and not very comfy. They did come in and clean up the room which was good. Food was ok but really expensive. I asked the girl behind the bar for a glass of ice and she really had no interest to help me. I asked for Parmesan chips and was told I don’t think we have them went to ask and came back and just took the money no personality at all. Parking was good and train service near by.
