Lovely location architecturally and not far from Haymarket. Beautiful old building with a stylish common area and bar. Well decorated but be prepared for stairs. Room looked good and the bathroom was well appointed.
The three tier bunks aren't comfortable. You can't sit up in bed and I was constantly hitting my head. The mattress wasn't comfortable so I slept on top of the duvet. The room was a good temperature but for some reason my neighbour had some kind of fan unit going all night, right by my head. So remember ear plugs!

I request a bed on the floor due to my back ache and got a response that my request was granted only to get to the hostel and i was told i could not get a floor bed.
