Decent facilities and central location. Disappointing regarding the random access key disabling

In the middle of my stay my access key was just suddenly removed at 11PM without any reason or changes to booking. This was highly inconvenient and unsafe. However the team were very responsive when called on the emergency number and the issue was sorted within about 35mins.

Spacious apartment, handy to the theatre

Apartment was good - very spacious, great having two bathrooms, comfortable beds. We were attending the theatre, which was only a block down the road, so the location was spot on. Easy drive to the airport in the morning.

Checking in was a bit of a nightmare. There was no-one on reception, and had to provide an email address - was told they were sending two emails, one with a link to download an access app, the other with the information about the apartment. 25 minutes later, no emails, so had to call again, and they said would resend. Got one email with the link to the app, which they said would access the garage as well as the room. Downloaded the app, but could not access the garage. Rang again, and they said they would reset the app. Got given access to the garage - phone had to be held at a very specific angle for it to work. Took the lift up only to discover we couldn't find our room number. Rang again, to be told we had to go around the corner to another entrance - 'it's in your email' - which I still hadn't received. Finally got to the room - again, getting the angle of the phone to get into the room was tricky. Still hadn't received second email, so rang again, and they ended up sending it via WhatsApp. Very frustrating! In the apartment, all internal doors close automatically which doesn't sound like a big deal but was a pain - would be a hassle if you were a family with small children.

Got in the hotel easily

First off the £250 deposit should be listed clearer on booking.com as I would have looked for somewhere else to stay. Not been to a hotel that does this. Second of all the TV in the bedroom didn’t work wasn’t connected to WiFi but the TV in the living space/kitchen was fine. Casting to either TV didn’t work either even when following full instructions. Apparently they’re running on reduced hours from the email that was sent so wasn’t sure who to contact about the TV issue. Places of the apartment were a little dirty wasn’t the best experience walking in and finding where your staying for the night isn’t as clean as you would’ve hoped it to be. Now this one isn’t entirely the hotels fault but the hotel doesn’t block out much noise as we could hear people shouting and balling in the streets for half the night. I’d imagine if the TV worked we would’ve been able to drown out some of that noise.

Very comfortable apartment located in the perfect spot in glasgow to reach both ends of the city with a comfortable walk

The apartment was really nice. Very spacious and liveable. Clean too. It was in a great location and exactly what I was looking for.

There were no staff on duty at all. I understand that is the nature of this building but it would have been nice if there was at least someone who could help up. We could not figure out how to work the laundry machine properly for the longest time and had no one to ask. Not a big deal though.

Comfortable city centre apartment

The apartment was within walking distance of the city centre & had a Tesco express very handy. The beds were super comfortable & the apartment was clean with excellent facilities. Our apartment was spacious & had plenty of light.

The apartment wasn't ready at 3pm so we had to wait 30 mins for the virtual key. The virtual key worked for me but stopped working for the other 2 people staying in the apartment. There was no air conditioning so the apartment was very warm & the windows could only be opened a fraction. The safe didn't work and some of the light bulbs needed replacing. We could have done with extra pillows. None of these issues would put me off using Premier Suites again but improvements could definitely be made.

A company who cares more about profit than people's experience

The location was in the city centre

I recieved 14 emails and several Whatsapp from the company regarding my stay, all with complicated instructions on how to pay for my stay. It was not taken automatically, and could not be taken on site so I had to pay using a sign up link that they sent me, including an outrageous £250 deposit. They were late to send it, even though there was a lingering threat that my booking would be cancelled if I didnt pay within 3 days. The check in process was stressful, with no one at the desk to help I had to trawl through all 14 emails to find instructions on how to check in. The process was invasive, all of my friends had to put their details into a Web page, including signatures. When I thought it was finished I had to find more info on how to find my key, which I eventually found I had to download an app on my phone that was the key. This meant that my friends couldn't get in the apartment without me. It all felt like instead of employing someone to be a receptionist, the company left all the work to the customer. Getting checked in was like an elaborate puzzle that took several days of payment links and elaborate instructions that made it stressful. If you don't have a smart phone I don't even know where you'd start! Reception also contained promise of coffee with no water in the machine, and guests private and confidential mail out on the counter for people to find. All would've been resolved by paying a person to sit at the desk. Would not stay here again.

Definitely recommend

Great location. Large rooms. Good facilities. Very clean. Comfy large bed. Water in the fridge. Tea and coffee. Dishwasher tablets in the cupboard. Portable fans. Decent shower. Big TV. Fair price for size and location. The kitchen would have been great for self-catering if we weren't eating out. Instruction folder for appliances in the cupboard. Good soundproofing between rooms. Would happily stay again and definitely recommend.

Check in. No human. Had to download an app to use keyless entry. It would have been better to have known that prior to arriving. Didn't get an access code, so we had to wait around. Luckily, nice weather. Once sorted, it was OK. A small thing found out as went to wash up was no dish cloth, though it had everything else we needed. Plinth under fridge fallen off. I'm not sure if there was AirCon, no instructions for it. It's a very well insolated apartment and the weather was great so it was warm inside.

Not keen on having to use an app to open flat door. My app wouldn't let me do this. Had to phone help line and very nice girl sent a Hospitality man over to help. He supplied keycard which worked and I used that which I was grateful for. Much better way for getting in.

Unkind owner

I never actually got to stay here after a blunder with a double booking with Booking.com. They rang the owner of these suites to explain but she declined to refund the money . I'm a single parent who saved for a night stay and ended up paying for 2 separate hotels nearly £400. I sent her an email mail to explain but she chose to ignore me.

Everything about the owner and the way I was treated. She ignored my emails and even after being contacted by booking.com customer services who tried to explain their blunder......she took the £200 anyway!!!!!!
