I liked the secluded location of the cottage and the sounds of the running river being so close and being surrounded by countryside.
There was a scent of wet dog upon our arrival, bit thanks to a candle being in the downstairs bathroom which we were able to light and diluted the odour. The hot tub thermometer wasn't working as it shown 32 degrees but the water became incredibly hot which was more than 40 degrees.

House was lovely and quaint, we had a great weekend.
hot tub needed extra chlorine as water was murky after use. A pergola over the hot tub would be a great for when it rains - little suggestion x

Warm pleasant welcome from Helen.
Lovely , cosy and clean.
Only advice to make access better would be a handrail down main steps to cottage. Although there was easier access through gate to adjoining cottage.
