I try my very best to see the good things about any given situation and not focus on the negative, so let me start off with the positives. Our unit was ready one hour early at 3:00pm instead of the stated check in time of 4:00pm. We received a text notifying us that our unit was ready. Our check in was a complete breeze. Walked into building C, told them our name and they handed me my paperwork. However, I will say, the staff was not rude, but they were not very friendly or helpful when I went back into the office a few days later with a couple of simple questions. They had plenty of luggage carts and buggy's for groceries, etc. We stayed in building D, which has 2 elevators. Other than arrival day, we NEVER had to wait on an elevator. They ran like clockwork. Were they always clean, not at all, but we never had to wait on one to pick us up on the 7th floor or in the main lobby, so 10/10 on elevators. Our unit had a door code and no key, which was fabulous. However, the latch does not catch well at all and we just about lost it once when we arrived back to our unit and the door was wide open!! Upon entering the unit, they floor plan was great and the views were stunning!! I will say that this unit is positioned at an angle and you cannot see the sunset from the balcony. It has great golf views, but it is turned slightly east, just enough that you cannot see the sunset. But the balcony is nice and roomy. Sliders from the living area and master as well, with a lounger, table and chairs. The unit is all tile, which is great and had just been mopped before we arrived, so it appeared to be clean. Now the negatives... the unit had a bad odor. I purchased freebreze, but it did not help. the furniture is at least 15 years old and is showing its age. The mattresses, oh goodness, the mattresses are horrible!!!! There are rugs in the bathrooms and the guest bedroom that desperately needs trashed. Honestly, the unit has not been redecorated in way over 15 years and could really use a deep cleaning. The refrigerator had an inch of grim and dust on the top of it. The small appliances in the kitchen like the coffee pot, can opener and toaster were so nasty that I just sat those in the pantry. We never used the oven, but the refrigerator and dishwasher worked well. The return air vent in the hallway outside of the master bedroom was so nasty that it had major dusty bunnies hanging from the vent. Parking was a nightmare, but good location. Unit needs a makeover!
