Extremely poor and unsuitable

Accessing the property was straight forward

When I checked in yesterday evening, it was immediately clear that the apartment had not been cleaned or prepared for new guests. The beds were unmade, there was visible dust and cobwebs throughout the space, and a used bar of soap left in the bathroom. The overall level of cleanliness was far below acceptable standards for any accommodation and this is the worst accomodation experience ever. Even more concerning was the lack of basic amenities and comfort. The heating in the apartment was not functioning at all, and the place was extremely cold, especially during the evening and night. My children and I were left in very uncomfortable conditions, trying to stay warm in an unheated space we didn't sleep well. To make matters worse, there was no hot water, making it impossible to bathe or even wash properly. I have taken photo evidence of the apartment’s condition upon arrival to support my complaint. I find it deeply disappointing that, after enduring such uncomfortable and unsanitary conditions, I then received a message from the host implying that I had mistreated the property. This experience was unacceptable and far below the standards I have come to expect from listings on your platform. I kindly request that Booking.com investigate this property and the conduct of its management, and that my complaint be formally recorded for review. I am surprised to receive a message from the host as I had planned to put a complaint but I've been in transit. we got into the property late in the evening and we were out by 8.50am. there was hair belonging to someone else in the shower. I've tried to attach pictures but Its not accepting the format I still have the pictures

The shower made it a “no” for us

The house was clean, well equipped, clean sheets and towels.

We are a family of 4. Take a shower would flood the bathroom as the floor is not well designed and it’s a curtain to “close” it. There is fan in the shower that gets activated with humidity making the curtain “glue” on you during the shower…Was not nice to be trying to dry the bathroom after taking a shower.

On the first day, we got caught in the rain, and when we arrived at the apartment, it was very cold and there were no radiators, so we couldn’t dry our clothes.

Location is good. 10 minutes walk from Legohouse and 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive from Legoland. Free parking also convenient. Have everything you need in the flat to prepare meals. What we didn’t like is that you need to put the linen on by yourself. We came in the evening after a long day and was very annoying to put sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers on 4 beds.

Exceptional

The location was perfect to walk to the grocery store and Lego House. We did not go to the Lego Resort, but it would be an easy walk as well. We arrived by plane, then bus into the city center, then a 10 minute walk to the house. The kitchen had all of the kitchen supplies we needed for our short stay, and even had ground coffee available for our use! The beds were comfortable.

Very close to everything in Billund, excellent location, the apartment was very clean and modern, super comfortable for a family of four.

If I had to mention something, could have done with a toaster maybe, also worked for us but maybe some people wouldn't like all sharing one bedroom.

Because the apartment was so warm, condensation formed on the windows and items placed on windowsills got soaked overnight. Not a huge issue but perhaps a warning notice would have helped.

If there is a fine for not using bedsheets, at least apply them on the bed. The bed and pillows were really dirty and no covers were applied. Not enough toiletries available as well. Can't blame the location much as billund is a small town but the value for money is nowhere near justified.

Very nice. Cozy apartment in a quiet area of Billund. About 10-15 minutes walk till Legoland. Not being right next to Legoland, it gives you the opportunity to discover a small and charming Danish town. About the host, Thomas, what can I say ..... as others have said here, a very nice and helpful person. :)

Very neutral and scandi minimalistic style place :)

Location is good, house was clean and tidy. Hosts very friendly and supportive - were reachable by phone and answered all of our questions. Legoland is around 20 min walk, food store is around the corner. Wi-Fi was good. Must be great in the summer because house has a small front yard to enjouy your meals.

Local Danish channels on TV were not available, only Netflix or YouTube via your cellphone. We wanted to enjoy some local TV :)
