Sandman Signature St. John's Hotel

The location was only 10 min to airport and downtown area. Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated.

My bed was too soft and pillows too puffy for my liking. The coffee supplied in the room was chocolate cinnamon flavoured and I like plain coffee in the morning.

Good parking! Like that you have Denny’s and Moxies on site.

Overall good room, and great staff.

A handicap room was requested, the accommodations for mobility issues were not ideal. Was surprised that it was promoted as unit to physical challenges. No shower stall was the greatest challenge.

We enjoyed the set-up of a separate bedroom.

We found that our room was not vacuumed and found pieces of pizza throughout the main room and bedroom. Even a piece stuffed in couch cushion from previous occupants. We had to ask cleaning staff to specifically vacuum on the 2nd day. We were very disappointed that we were not informed prior to our stay that the fitness centre and pool were closed. If I had known, we would have gone to a different hotel. We felt that we should have received a discount to our stay due to the lack of advertised amenities.
