1. Location was great as it's near old town but not in the busy streets.
2.Also the place was clean and was regularly cleaned throughout the stay.
3. Bed was also comfortable and was even given a bottle of wine.
We chose the budget double room. It was good for us but not great if you are claustrophobic. It was more like box room style but there is a window to allow air and make you feel space is more open.
Also we were initially told that a taxi would be booked for us from the airport and then going back to the airport but on both occasions, we had to go to the taxi rank and get one. It was a bit tricky as not all taxis have a card machine set up.
It would have been nicer to be told that we can just get our own taxi before we flew into Chania than saying we did have taxis booked.
