I really love the staff, the breakfast and the facilities.
Only the pillow, it wasn’t too comfortable.

It was definitely good value.
It was very clean and comfortable and right next to a Lawson, which was handy.
The owner is a quirky, friendly guy and his wife is lovely.
Breakfast was good with a warm home made bread roll which was delicious.
I had my best nights sleep there by that stage of the trip.
Good hot shower as well
Paying 1000 yen to park overnight felt a little steep for the area

The hosts were friendly and welcoming. They encouraged a convivial atmosphere by playing music for us and allowing the guests to share food at the same table. They were also very helpful with providing local information.
The only reason I rated comfort at a moderate level is because the weather was very hot and the air conditioner in our room failed one night.
It is probably worth stating on the website for people with limited mobility that the rooms are reached via steep stairs.

The owner speaks english really well and is very nice. The water pressure in the shower is great! Breakfast was good (Missed the diner but I’m sure it was too)
The room are pretty small, but that’s fair in japan. The walls are pretty thin. The toilets and bathrooms are not so easily accessible. The bed are not very confortable. One has to pay extra for towels (this is the only time in 5 weeks vacations in Japan we saw that). All this is largeley acceptable in aguesthouse, but for a fraction of the price, the value is just not there in my opinion…
