Dangerous

Location is easy to walk into old town.

There were multiple issues like finding parking (there's a parking garage closeby but it's full so you have to wait until someone leaves). The bathroom is very small, you can barely fit in. The party outside goes until 5am and then there's the restaurants hauling stuff on wheelbarrows on the cobble stone streets so it's not an option to open the window but thankfully they have AC at least. All of this would have still been ok but the door almost gave me a concussion. My head is still hurting 4 days after. The doorways are built for very short people and when entering it's kind of OK and visible but the exit is crazy. The doorway is narrowing so initially it looks like it's fine but it's not so you're up for a very bad surprise. No signs or warnings or anything.

This hotel is underrated. Just needs a few little tweaks to make it outstanding

Good size room with fridge and kettle. Very small fridge. Located in Main Street.

The pillows. The checkin was not smooth. There were dirty towels from precious guests behind the bathroom door.

It was good and comfortable stay after long drive from UK

Shower cabin was very small. As well, there is no lift so avoid big suitcases

Exceptional value for money in the most central location.

Lovely staff with excellent local knowledge. Short walk from train/bus station. Actually there is an exit door within the confines of the old town. Can recommend the Cozna restaurant round the corner and the bike rental shop round the corner and the bakery plus the Renuion buffet across the road.

Bathrooms a little tired but they are well kept and you are working within the confines of an old building.

The hotel was a good value for the price. The room size was good. It was very clean and the location of the hotel was great. It was surprising how quiet it was considering how close it was to all the action!

Superb

We arrived about 10pm and we were checked in quickly. It was a relief to be in a quiet room with air conditioning to rest and sleep in. We were especially impressed with Linda at the front desk who was very kind and let us store our luggage.

Stayed two nights in Icone, its location is relatively good, around 10 mins walk from the main Centre and lake Annecy. The room is big enough. bed is comfortable, small balcony and relatively small yet clean bathroom.

the property was very well located in Annecy old town, the bed was really comfortable, bathroom facilities great. the staff were lovely too.

the air con didn’t work in our room. there was a Dyson fan but it was very hot when getting ready and sleeping. the hangers in the clothe hanging area were really dusty, and one of them broken.

Lovely hotel ideally situated in the centre of town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room and everything anyone could reasonably expect from a hotel.

Just what was needed after a stressful journey

we had the last room available and we were told in advance that it was a room that had not yet been refurbished. However, it was spacious, clean and comfortable with a large bathroom and plenty of hot water. The hotel had a very good restaurant and we had a delicious meal and a very good continental breakfast the next morning . Best of all the staff without exception were all very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is basic but it's so cheap taking into account the position. It's right near the city center, and you can go on any place in Annecy by foot.

Great Value and Location

During a very busy holiday weekend, this hotel came to our rescue by finding us a room. The rooms were on the small side, but they were clean and modern with good bathrooms and showers. Also, the location was exceptional!

Depending on your room number, you may need to climb several flights of stairs which can be problematic with couples with heavy bags (our case).

The front lady was so nice. We have big luggages but the hotel doesn't have elevator so she offered the room at the ground floor in order not to carry luggage up along the stairs. The room is big and quite clean. Location is also perfect.

location. the receptionist women was great. friendly and helpful. the only bright side in the hotel.

very outdated. curtain in the shower as we are in the 70’. one day we didn’t have hot water. the breakfast was …. well. we decided to eat in one of the cafes in the area.
