Right in the heart of the city. The bed was comfortable. The place is unique and eclectic.

The bathroom is small, and using a key to lock the door inside and out was a bit unconventional.

Good place to stay a couple nights in the heart of Chueca. Clean rooms and a good friendly staff, service and communication is great! Location is very good, just couple blocks from Gran Via and the shopping district, great cafes all around.

The hotel is a set of rooms created inside an older apartment within a residential building, not a proper full service hotel, rooms are small and feels a bit cramped up, so little pricy for what you get. Getting in and out is a little hassle with a tiny old elevator, can be a challenge if you have mobility issues.

The receptionist was very outgoing and helpfull, she really did all she could to help us out and listen to us. She provided big help and good advices when needed and was super polite during all of the process. Update: After our stay, the owner proactively reached out to us and, as compensation, refunded part of the accommodation cost. I consider this a very fair and honest gesture on their side, and I appreciate the way they handled the situation afterwards.

Well, we experienced a few minor issues during our stay. Some were resolved immediately, so I wouldn’t call them a major problem, but others were not. Here is everything in order. First, our initial room had damage from what seemed to be a water incident—the wall was wet and the room smelled of damp. We asked to be moved right away, and the staff immediately changed our room, which we truly appreciated. Second, the air conditioning stopped working because a neighboring room’s remote appeared to connect to our unit. Again, the team reacted quickly and the issue was resolved. Now, the things we didn’t like: We found long black hairs (possibly left behind during cleaning) in multiple places, including the bedding and the bathroom. This was unpleasant and should not happen. The bed headboard was peeling, and when leaning on it, it left many tiny black particles on the bed. During the day, there was quite a lot of hallway noise for extended periods, making it difficult to relax in the afternoon or take a proper nap. One odd situation also occurred: in the middle of our stay, I received a message saying they hoped I had a good stay and asking me to rate the accommodation. I replied that I was still staying for a few more days. They apologized and deleted the message, so I assume it was a system error. Toilet bowl was a shaky one when you sat on it, that was a strange thing too. Overall, we appreciate the quick responses to the first issues, but the cleanliness and room maintenance problems should be addressed.
