Located where the San Juan River meets the ocean, our house is just steps from the ocean and has peekaboo views of the ocean and river mouth. This comfortable and spacious 4 bedroom cabin is the ideal home-away-from-home, and is very well equipped to accommodate families, with two full bathrooms and two levels. Very private, pet and kid-friendly fenced yard, back deck and gardens, with lots of room for you to bring an extra vehicle or boat. Only 50 yards/m to the waters edge from the front yard, and a short 2 min. walk to the public beach access down the street. Perfect setup for surfers - enjoy the surf nearby and rinse off in the gorgeous outdoor hot shower after your session!

Private backyard fire pit, BBQ, electric fireplace, full kitchen with dishwasher, custom built outdoor sauna, outdoor shower, spacious laundry/mud room, covered front porch, ample parking, WiFi and ocean views are just some of the added features of our beach home.

There are two bedrooms on the main floor: the master bedroom has a king bed with ensuite walk-in closet and bathroom, plus sliding glass doors onto the back deck. The second bedroom on the main floor has a king bed and bathroom right across the hall.

On the second floor there is a charming and bright attic bedroom with one single and one double bed. A second, very spacious attic bedroom has one king and one queen bed.

Please note the house does not have air conditioning, so during the summer months we rely on open windows and ocean breezes + fans to keep the temperature comfortable at night.

This is an amazing, ruggedly beautiful part of the coast - enjoy fresh ocean air and beach walks at your doorstep, salmon and fresh water fishing, hiking/backpacking on the Juan de Fuca or West Coast trail, biking, and surfing at Sombrio only 15 minutes away! The house is located right at the river mouth which is also great for flat water canoeing/kayaking and SUPing.
