Het huisje ligt aan de rand van het mooie bos van Fontainebleau. Direct naast het huis begint een prachtige wandeling, echt een aanrader. Het dorpje is heerlijk rustig. Voor boodschappen moet je verderop, maar er is vlakbij wel een hele goede bakker. In het huis zelf is veel aanwezig. De keuken was goed voorzien. Wij verbleven hier vier dagen.
Wastafel in badkamer is wat krapjes. Wij waren met z'n tweeën, dus het was geen probleem dat je door twee slaapkamers moet om boven bij de wc/badkamer te komen. Als je met meer bent, lijkt me dat niet fijn. Omdat het zo heet was, wilden we de ramen open houden. Je hoort dan wel de kerkklok die twee keer het hele uur beiert. Dus neem oordopjes mee.
