Beautiful vacation home on Bear Lake in Waupaca County. This nearly new home features 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, fully-furnished kitchen, spacious open living room & kitchen with wood fireplace and outdoor deck overlooking the lake. This beautiful Bear Lake home comfortably sleeps 9 with room for more. 3 bedrooms (1 king suite with full bathroom, 1 queen size bed & full-size futon, 1 twin suite featuring 2 twins and a trundle and an additional full size bed). 1 additional full bath with laundry room. Spectacular lake views from the open concept living room, dining room and kitchen area. Living room with 50 inch TV and wood fireplace. Dock for boat. Kayaks and paddle boards available for use. Swim right off the shore! This home is sparklingly clean, spacious and comfortable. Weekly rentals (Friday -Friday) June-July-August available or minimum of 2 nights during the offseason.
Bear Lake is an all recreational lake with a boat landing nearby if you bring your own ski boat. There is a bar, campground-resort with food and weekend entertainment within walking distance.

Our family has stayed in this beautiful lakeside home before and will be returning. The spacious layout is perfect for guys and gear. Local amenities are plentiful and Lana the owner is a perfect hostess.

I am reviewing the cabin the way I would find helpful as a guest:
1) cabin-very clean, spacious. Washer and dryer is nice to have. Master has a king and private bath with shower. Yard is flat and grassy; nice fire pit. Only down side is window air, which is only in the living room. Does NOT reach back bedrooms. Was about 80-83 degrees in the bedrooms at night.
Boat- If you get the pontoon, beware, it is quite old. Very clean and in physically good shape, but only has a 28mph motor. Also, wouldn’t start quite a few times while we were out on the lake. Only for seasoned boaters with some knowledge. Also, most of lake is no wake. There’s only one small, circular area for tubing/skiing.
Beach- able to swim off the dock if you don’t mind fish, weeds and mud. No real sand area for little ones.
Area- not too much to do near by. Grocery shopping is in Waupaca, a good 15-20 min drive. Check out Marl Lake—super cool!
Overall, nice stay. A bit pricey for what you get. Owners’ permanent home is directly next door. They do come over quite a bit to get garbage, check in, etc which can be intrusive at times.
Bring fans, laundry soap, and beach towels.
