Great location, fabulous views of the rolling hills and loch, together with a real sense of 'getting away from it all'. The downstairs of the cottage was cosy and adequately equipped. We particularly enjoyed the open fire that was set up ready to go, we only had to light it and there was plenty of spare wood to burn. A point for our own learning is that next time we will select somewhere that does not welcome pets as many parts of the upstairs did smell like dogs were there before us. So much so the rug and blankets used to cover the beds were unusable. Other that that whilst the cottage had a sort of rustic but tired charm to it, we did enjoy our stay overall.

Old fashioned stone built cottage. Central heating excellent plus a wood fire. Could do with some sprucing up paint wise. Excellent selection of books, videos, cds and jigsaws. 7 miles from nearest supermarket. Beautiful country views. If you are an animal lover this is for you - chickens, goats, horses, and a loch with plenty of waterfowl.

Lovley little place for a quiet escape. Warm a cosy Edward made sure everything was ok. Would go back again .

Not really suitable for children as cars speed past the front of the cottage
