Well located in the city of La Rochelle, close to shops (crossroads contact at 500 m) from the seafront (800 m) with trail that runs along the coast and takes you to the beach and Port des Minimes, bike paths and pedestrian, bus stop, at the exit of the residence (several directions possible: city center, train station, Aytré beach, Chatelaillon beach, Ile de Ré, ideal for a stay without a car).
Animals are not allowed.
RENT throughout the year from Saturday to Saturday preferably with arrival day and flexible schedule in low season.
Arrival time between 2 pm and 6 pm
Departure time before 10 am max 11 am
BOOKING: rental agreement, 30% deposit on booking the balance 10 days before the beginning of stay. A deposit of 300 € is required at the handing over of the keys and a cleaning deposit of 40 €. These deposits are returned upon your departure if the accommodation is returned without any deterioration and clean and household made.

We came with a car carrying our bikes and used both in combination for tours. For this it was comfortable to have a safe carport for the car which left enough space for the bikes, too. The carport is a little tricky to access but it is manageable if you are an experienced driver. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. The entire premise is a well-sheltered area. The owners welcomed us and were very helpful and reliable. We had a son speaking French, and I do not know how we would have got along without speaking French. Written communication was no problem using deepL. For 2 people there was plenty of space. The centre of La Rochelle is well accessible by foot in 20 minutes and by bike in 5 minutes. Even Ile de Re is accessible on a day trip by bike from here. Futher destinations like Ile d'Aix or Ile d'Oleron need a hook-up by car. Everything was perfect. The only reason why we withdrew one star for location was that it is not located at the sea and a little noisy in the morning due to the rush hour. The agency made some important flaws in the translated information but this was settled with the owners before arrival. A communication with the agency was not necessary for us but it was required to give at least one star to submit this evaluation. So we gave only one star because we do not like this evaluation interface.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine l’appartement est calme et propre le petit jardinet et la terrasse sont un plus très appréciable de plus nous avons tout fait à pied , les courses sont à 500 m et il y a tout ce qu’il faut nous recommandons cette location

Logement propre, très bon accueil de la propriétaire, bien placé par rapport au vieux port... Petit bémol, logement situé derrière un axe de circulation, très bruyant...
