A perfect vacation spot with the family for a week! The house was clean and well appointed with plenty of space for all. The location couldn’t have been better and had easy access to boat rentals, mini golf, grocery store and ice cream shop. The shaded private beach and boat dock provided hours of fun for the little ones. Anne was very responsive with any questions we had. Grateful for this comfortable rental!

The beach area was absolutely perfect for my twins who are almost 2 and have never been in the water before. They loved playing in the sand and wading into the water (very clean and full of fish)! The boathouse is also a great place to sit and relax in the morning or late afternoon. We watched the sun set on the last night from the dock. The house was very clean and I felt completely ok using the towels and linens provided. This was a huge plus (less things to pack). In the mornings and at night, the screen porch was the perfect place. It is a great house, stocked with plenty of games and books. The pictures do not do this house justice. The views are gorgeous and the house has so many cute hangout spots.Side note (nothing to do with house, just with the area in general): My family and I had never been to Lake Anna before, so we didn’t know what to expect in terms of food. However, the takeout food from local restaurants was something to be desired. I’d plan on grilling, pasta, cereal, sandwiches, etc. for your stay. The Food Lion isn’t too far of a drive and neither is Dickinson’s where we would stop in to pick up a quick breakfast or lunch.
