Lily's House

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und betreut. Bei unserem deutschsprachigen Gastgeber fühlten wir uns immer in guten Händen. Das Haus hat eine schöne, große überdachte Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick und verfügt über bequeme Sitzmöbel und Liegen. Der Mückenschutz an Fenstern und Türen ist sehr wirkungsvoll. Alles in allem ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen.

Die Matratzen waren uns zu hart.

Lily’s house is located away from the busier parts of the island and is perfect for those wanting to enjoy a peaceful holiday. However, it’s only a 20 minute drive from the east coast and only 35 minutes from the west coast. This means that you can easily get to beaches, restaurants, supermarkets etc., whilst staying in a rural environment. The house itself is beautiful inside and out and is well appointed with everything you could need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine! It also has an air conditioning system in the main living space, which was a bonus. It’s possible to walk from the house and get quickly into some quite wild environments. Head north along the hills behind the house for forested paths and great views south towards Corfu Town. Head south from the house for walks through olive groves. Just to the west of the house lies the incredibly interesting village of Ano Korakiana. The village has a bakery and a small shop and is a pleasure to explore. No two buildings are the same! The house is managed by Corfu Cottages whose office is almost next door to the house. The welcome afforded to us was better than at any hotel and their staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and the whole island.

There was nothing to dislike.

Such a beautiful and relaxing place.The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable. It has a large terrace with awesome view over an olive tree valley and it that provides a good balance of sun and shade for the different times of the day. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful, and really went the extra mile to provide us with the information we needed.

Great views from the balconies. To Paleokastritsa 20 minutes. Ipsos is 10 minutes away. Barbati is 20 minutes away. The owners of the house created a wonderful comfort for the guests.
