About this cabin rental
Peaceful setting in the woods with all the comforts of home. Wake up surrounded by the serenity of nature, where you'll encounter a variety of wildlife...deer, elk, birds, rabbits, in your own front yard. Enjoy a leisurely hike, right out your front door, or just a few miles away you'll find trails to challenge the most avid hikers. Trout/Salmon fishing, rafting, soaking in the hot springs, skiing, biking all within a lovely 1-25 mile drive. Fine dining and entertainment all near by. Don't forget to ride the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Train! For winter sports fun, it's just a short drive to Durango Mountain Resort or Wolf Creek. But if your idea of fun is just hanging out at the cabin and taking a nice winter walk, you can hike or snow shoe in the freshly fallen white stuff, then run inside to warm by the fire and sip hot chocolate! Ice skate at Chapman Ice Rink or experience a sleigh ride in Durango. Phenomenal sledding hills are located in our mountain community, at the nearby lake and park. Experience the peace and serenity of our little piece of heaven. You'll no doubt be planning your next visit, before you even begin to head back home! Unfortunately, I am allergic to dogs and cats so we do not allow them.

The house was beautiful and the homeowners had everything you could think of. We loved the quietness of the area and enjoyed seeing the deer every morning. Would definitely stay here again. Jan was so easy to work with. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

The house was exactly as we were hoping it would be. Very comfortable and the kitchen was very well supplied with what we needed. Would definitely stay in this house again. Had a blast!!

The cabin is nice in clean. Over all great stay. Did not like that you had to take your trash and put it into your vehicle and take it down the hill and across the street, and the time frame you had to do it we were already out doing things. The pictures of the out side of the place were out dated it looked, because you were surrounded by homes.
