Villa Antonietta Ischia

Villa stratosferica con una vista da togliere il respiro. Armando e Anna sono super disponibili per qualsiasi necessità e ti fanno sentire a casa! Insomma non vi resta che andare, non ve ne pentirete!

I cannot express how happy I was to be in Villa Antonietta. We were only in Ischia for a few nights, but in that time we felt like we were part of a family. The host Armando and his family were so helpful the whole time. Armando made sure that we were safe and comfortable - not only in the villa but also across the whole island. He was super engaging with us, making sure that our time in Ischia was fulfilled and never a dull moment. I highly recommend the breakfast. The breakfast is cooked by the host and the family. His wife bakes the best cakes that I've ever had for breakfast. "la torta era fantastica". If you are planning a trip or visiting Ischia book here at Villa Antonietta. It's at the prime location overlooking the valleys, the sea and town. And it's up the road from the two famous thermal spas negombo and posiedon. It's also next to the town Florio which has to be my favourite town ever. Especially when the markets are open. I also cannot forgot the sunset. One of the best sunsets I have ever seen and it was at the Villa. On a personal level, I just wanted to say thank you to Armando for helping us with transport, sightseeing and sharing limoncello with us. It was a great experience to drink with Armando and his family, and to watch football together. A moment that I will never forget. I'm already planning a return trip to Villa Antonietta and I cannot wait. 😊🌅🌄

Ambiente e camere curatissime, terrazza per la colazione con vista

the owner kindly offered to pick us up from the bus stop. From the photos it seemed to be a new bnb and the fact that it wasn’t close to the centre didn’t matter because we had organised transport.

You can tell it’s been recently opened because there are a few things missing and to be adjusted. Per se the bnb should be rated a 6.5/7, but what makes your stay unpleasant is the fact they are so unprofessional. Be prepared for the owners family gatherings (dinner, with shouting singing, you name it) on the terrace until 1am (really great when you have to wake up at 6 to get a ferry). The villa is their holiday house, but they don’t consider the fact that they pay for it through the rooms they rent out and perhaps it would be appropriate to be more considerate. But the real reason this review has such a low number is the fact that they tried to make us pay twice, argued about it on WhatsApp (professional much?), accused us of lying and asked us to send proof. The booking at been paid in advance at least 2 months before via PayPal through booking. I would suggest to the owner to check first with booking.com if he doubts that a guest has paid before throwing around accusations. Also matters like that should be sorted out face to face not on WhatsApp, we aren’t at school.
