Under the Sea is located in the most sought after, family friendly, private community directly across the street from the Disney Resort. Whether you walk 10 minutes to the Mickey and Friends FREE tram that takes you to the front gates of the park, or 15 minutes to Downtown Disney, you just can’t beat the location. Enjoy quiet, hassle free, “backstage” access to the wonderful world of Disney and all the nearby shops and entertainment, right within walking distance of our home.

CITY REQUIREMENTS:
+ Current REG Permit # REG2015-00171
+ Max Occupancy - 7 individuals including infants (4 adults max) - Adding guest(s) after initial booking incurs additional guest fee
+ Minimum Night Stay - 3 nights
+ Parking/Max Vehicle Count - 2 vehicles MAX. 1 private single car garage (will fit a minivan) and 1 assigned parking space ONLY. No other parking available within the HOA. Passenger Vans, RVs and Trailers of any kind are strictly prohibited.
+ Pool - 6 guests max at one time, strictly enforced by HOA. No unregulated flotation devices, pool toys, etc allowed. Pool Facility Hours 9am - 10pm.
+ City mandated "Quiet Time" from 10pm - 9am. Outdoor facilities (pool, patio, garage/game rooms etc) are off limits during this time.
+ Guests must agree to comply with city requirements or they will be subject to any and all fines, civil actions and/or criminal prosecutions related to violation.
+ We reserve the right to decline requests leaving 2 day gaps in our calendar
+ Guest will need to fill out a rental agreement and will be sent a pre-arrival email with the address and a unique door code about two weeks before the stay.
+ Check-ins and/or Check-outs occurring on a Major Holiday may incur an additional cleaning fee
+ Please note, reservations over 10 nights may incur an additional mid-stay cleaning fee.
+You must be 25 years old or older to book with us.
+We would like to inform you that all reservations are subject to an additional $500-$700 STR Rules Deposit HOLD. This deposit ensures that our house rules are followed and helps protect our property. Please note that this STR Rules deposit is not charged unless the house rules are not followed.
+For the convenience and security of the Guest, Funtierland also accepts Visa and Mastercard credit card payments but reserves the right to charge a 3.95% convenience fee. No convenience fees are incurred for payment via paper check, e-check, or ACH in US Funds.
+All rentals booked/paid for within 30 days of arrival:
Extra screening/background checks and proof of payment are required.
Outdoor Security Camera(s): Security cameras are present on the exterior of the property only to ensure compliance with city mandated rules. One faces the backyard and the other faces the driveway. Cameras are not actively monitored but do send electronic notifications to Funtierland personnel for potential follow up with Guest if the cameras detect activity between approximately 10pm – 9am in alignment with Anaheim's city mandated Quiet Time Hours / Ordinance. Cameras may also monitor parking compliance including but not limited to confirming that no vehicles encroach upon or park over the sidewalk in any way, or illegally park on the street without a Funtierland provided parking permit. Please note the use of the property and all amenities are at your own risk whether or not security cameras are present.

Host was INCREDIBLE- communication was so easy, and the fastest response times I’ve ever experienced. Beautiful property, amazing amenities that weren’t expected (anything you could think of for kids- including an entire drawer of kid dishes).

Pros:
-LOCATION- Such a convenient location. It really is a 15 minutes walk to the gates of Disneyland. Beware you will hear fireworks and they will be loud.
-EASY CHECK IN/OUT
-COMMUNICATION WITH MANAGEMENT

NOT AS PICTURED- The pictures are outdated which was a bummer. A selling point for me on this property was that in the pictures they feature multiple Disney princess dresses - however there were no dresses and there was random bedding shoved up in the closet cubby area. This bedding didn't look like it belonged in the room and we weren't even sure if it was clean since it wasn't folded. The TV in the room with the bunkbeds turned on but we couldn't get it to work otherwise.
There was water damage to the door in the upstairs guest bath.
There were strollers just hanging out in the laundry room - and we didn't rent a stroller for this trip so it was weird that they were just sitting there.
They did have a pack and play for our infant but the mattress was plastic. I was not expecting that. We also could only find (1) sheet for the pack and play and it appeared to be ripped.
I would rent in this condominium area again, but not sure I would rent this specific unit again.
