About this house rental
Located in a quiet hamlet and sought near the village of Gordes, this lovely stone house end 19th was completely restored in 2008 by a Belgian designer with harmony and refinement (polished concrete floors and furniture designed for home). enclosed landscaped garden of 400m2, terrace shaded by a large sail with dining area and solarium, pool pool (11x 3m depth 1. 50m) Very nice amenities.

In a small hamlet a few kilometers from Gordes, 40 kilometers from Avignon (TGV), 70 kilometers from Marseille Provence airport and Aix en Provence.

Main House
Ground floor:
Large living room very bright opens onto the garden with its lounge-fireplace (decorative), its dining room and kitchen open to the dining room fully equipped (high end appliances). Guest toilet. Pantry / laundry room. The entrance to the house is through the garage (electric gate).
First floor:
A double room (bed 160 cm), en suite shower room with toilet. A double room (bed 180cm) with dressing room, ensuite shower room and toilets with views over the Luberon. A third double Master bedroom (bed 180 cm), bathroom, separate toilet, dressing in mezzanine.
Equipment
Kitchen: induction hob, Tappenyaki, refrigerator, freezer, oven and steam oven, dishwasher, small electrical appliances (juicer, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, coffee grinder, blender and mixer). Nespresso
Laundry room: washing machine, dryer, ironing equipment.
Multimedia: flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo, internet with WiFi.
Other: Telephone line, 2 hair dryers in the bathrooms, underfloor heating, water softener, Weber gas barbecue.

My family... three adults and two children, stayed at this property, and we loved it. The home was beautifully furnished. It also was one of the cleanest VRBO properties I've ever stayed in. It had wonderful amenities. The bathrooms were clean and roomy. The beds and bedrooms were nice. The kitchen had everything you would need except knives for chopping. The patio had great furniture and the pool was clean and well kept. I would not stay in this home with young children as the stairway is open... no railing / banister. Also, the house does not have air conditioning. It did get very warm while we were there in July. They had furnished each bedroom with a fan, but the fan in my room stopped working the last two nights we were there. Although we contacted the property manager three times and he promised to bring by a new fan, it never happened. So I spent two nights in a very warm bedroom. This is the only negative comment I have about our stay. Overall I rate the quality of the home a five star. I would have liked to see a more responsive property management.

We enjoyed this house so much we returned! Perfect for a smaller group. We first stayed in 2016 and we loved the charm of the house, the location, and proximity to our favorite villages. While we have returned to Provence several times since in a group of 8, this time when planning for a smaller group we were thrilled to find this home was still available.
Communication was quick. The house is nicely decorated and clean. We appreciated the little touches such as two hairdryers, new soaps in all bathrooms, and a bottle of wine. Gustave is attentive and communicative.
We enjoyed morning runs to the boulangerie, days exploring villages, and evenings with the pool and a nice bottle of wine, cheese, and relaxation.
FYI- There is no handrail on the concrete spiral stairs.

the house is exactly as shown in the pictures - beautifully decorated and well maintained. the kitchen is fully equipped and working a treat. we appreciated the ice cube-producer in the freezer. the beds are mostly comfortable - depending on what mattress firmness one prefers. the house is in between others so be aware of some possible noise of neighbouring holiday renters.
