Exceptional hospitality in a beautiful, charming home.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. My family truly loved it. Nathalie is an incredibly responsible and hardworking woman — she does everything on her own, and she is simply amazing. Breakfast was delicious, served in such a beautiful and atmospheric room. The whole house is designed with so much attention to detail — cozy, charming, full of character. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Comfort, luxury and authenticity

What a beautiful home! The decor is stunning, beautiful pieces of furniture, very comfortable bed. We only spent one night here but can tell it's an excellent spot to visit Mont Saint Michel and feel at home (in luxury). The breakfast is the best we've had - the host has thought of EVERYTHING to provide and gets fresh pastries from the bakery (as well as many homemade goodies). The hospitality is top of the top. Highly recommend!

This property is beautifully decorated in a traditional French style. It is spacious and luxurious and immaculate. The hostess pays attention to every single detail! The breakfast was amazing and delicious and the accommodation so lovely. The bathroom is unbelievable and gorgeous. If you are going to Ducey, don’t miss this property. We felt like royalty!

What a special place… From the moment we arrived at Les Rose in Ducey, we didn’t feel like guests.We felt truly welcomed. As if we were staying with a dear friend. Nathalie, our host, is a woman with a heart of gold. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made our stay unforgettable. The room was beautiful: bright, peaceful, and decorated with so much love. Everything felt just right from the soft linens to the fresh flowers on the table. We had a lovely view of the garden, where the morning sun greeted us each day. It felt like a little oasis of calm. Every morning, we were spoiled with a delicious breakfast, lovingly prepared by Nathalie. Fresh croissants, homemade jams and yogurth, ripe fruit… and always a warm smile. We felt seen, cared for, and truly pampered. But what touched us most was the atmosphere. The house radiates charm and authenticity, but it’s Nathalie who brings it to life. She gave us tips for local outings, shared stories about the region’s history, and took the time to connect with us. We had wonderful conversations, laughter, and moments of genuine connection. For us, Les Rose wasn’t just a place to stay it was a memory we’ll carry with us. A place where we found peace, warmth, and a sense of belonging. We’ll definitely be back. Lovely Stay in Ducey

Nathalie and Laurent were great hosts at the Maison d’hôtes de charme La Rose de Ducey, and we enjoyed our stay in their lovely accommodation. The breakfasts were extra special, featuring home-baked goods as well as those from the local bakery. Nathalie was extremely helpful with recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit, with a highlight being the Scriptorial in Avranches, which was a wonderful addition to our trip to Mont Saint-Michel.

Nathalie is a fantastic host of this truly beautiful property. The accommodation is incredibly stylish and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the freshly made cakes were so good. There was secure parking in a garage for our bicycles which was much appreciated. Fabulous stay, we will definitely be back !

A grand stay in Ducey!

Nathalie was a very accommodating host and sent across details of restaurants etc. in advance. We were able to store our bicycles in the private garage and Nathalie was even kind enough to print a bike ticket for the train that I'd forgotten to print beforehand. We were 3 friends staying for 1 night in the 2 bedroom apartment. It was really comfortable with lots of care taken in the presentation throughout. A great breakfast was provided downstairs, and ingredients were fresh and top quality. Nathalie had even baked a couple of cakes!

The home is beautiful through and through. This was a return trip after staying here two years ago. We came again and brought my aging parents who were treated with the utmost respect and kindness. I will be back yet again in the future. Enough said!

After a particularly difficult 24 hours of travel, her compassion and responsiveness were a breath of fresh air. She made sure everything was ready for us with such kindness and urgency—it meant more than we can say. The house itself is a beautifully restored 18th-century gem, lovingly decorated with style and comfort in mind. It blends historic charm with modern luxury seamlessly. Our room was immaculate, with an enormous, cloud-like bed and a serene atmosphere that made it easy to relax. Every corner of the house reflects Nathalie’s thoughtful touch, from the spotless interiors to the lush, tranquil garden that feels like a private escape. Breakfast was a highlight—beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with many items lovingly homemade by Nathalie herself. It was a feast for both the eyes and the palate, and a perfect start to each day. Above all, what made our stay so unforgettable was Nathalie herself. She radiates warmth and sincerity, and by the time we left, she truly felt like family. If you’re looking for a place where luxury meets heart, La Rose de Ducey is it. A perfect place to stay near Mont Saint Michel!

La Rose de Ducey was a perfect stay for our family of six. Nathalie was a superb host: friendly, helpful and a great communicator. The home is lovely, very clean and beautifully appointed. The beds were large (king size!) and very comfortable. The suite was a perfect option for our four kids and we all enjoyed the sitting room as a place to congregate together. We would have loved to stay longer than one night. Breakfast was amazing with Nathalie’s delicious plum cake, fresh pastries, lattes, beautiful fruit salad and perfectly cooked eggs. There is also a very large and lovely private garden with gorgeous flowers we would have loved to explore if we’d had more time. Thank you for a delightful stay!

Fabulous luxury stay

What a fabulous place to stay. This property has been lovingly renovated and feels like a friends home you are visiting, rather than paid accommodation. Nathalie explained where the parking was, close by. It is free and a two minute walk. Our room was huge and amazing. It was the Deluxe King Suite. The bed was huge and very, very comfortable. We had chairs to sit on and so much space. Lots of natural light with opening windows. There is no aircon, but we didn't need it as there was a fan. The bathroom was also very big, with double sinks and lots of lovely products to use. The shower had lots of hot water. The toilet is separate and is also in a large space, with a hand basin. Al the fixtures and fittings are of good quality and a lot of thought has gone into the choice of tiles, furnishings and making the suite comfortable and luxurious. The property is full of amazing furniture, artwork, personal treasures and flowers. Our room overlooked the big back garden, which has a terrace to sit and have breakfast on. The breakfast was amazing. Beautiful, set out in the formal dining room. We had fresh juice, individual bowls of fresh fruits, fresh pastries and bread, cheese, jams, homemade yogurt, cereal and fresh coffee. There are many restaurants and bars close by and it is easy to walk to all the local sites as well. Ducey is a very pretty and friendly town and we enjoyed our stay here.

The property has been beautifully renovated and the garden is lovely! Our room was roomy the bed was very comfy and it has an excellent en suite with lots of room! The home is very beautiful and you can tell it is loved by the owners. It was very clean, decorated beautifully, and has high end touches. The beds were devine! We felt very welcomed and comfortable! Natalie is into all the little details that make your stay feel special. From making sure we had a dinner reservation to baking us a cake - she went above and beyond! Breakfast was on time, a delicious spread, and presented beautifully in the formal dining room. Natalie even helped us prepare for our day and sent us on our way with extras from breakfast. Natalie and her husband were as welcoming as their home and we could not have asked for a better stay or experience!

This is probably the nicest place we have ever stayed in. It's breathtakingly beautiful and decorated with class. The bed is perfectly big and comfy and relaxing. And spotlessly clean. The hosts were very welcoming and kind and very helpful with local information. We had everything we could possibly want. And Milieu is adorable, be sure to give him some scratches.

Nathalie made us a full breakfast with fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, eggs, pain au chocolate, baguette with cheese and jams, and cafe au lait. Just what we needed but more than expected before we carried on our family cycling trip on the Veloscenie.

Natalie - the host - was great. She was reachable at all times and answered our questions without delay. She was on hand for recommendations and restaurant bookings we needed. The room we stayed in (the suite) was spacious for our family and very clean. The location is a 25 min drive to Mont St. Michele and it’s also close to Granville which is a lovely little town.
