A wonderful old house, lovingly restored. The little quirky mini room in the tower off our bedroom stole my heart!

It was conveniently located five minutes off the main motorway on our journey south.
The room was exceptionally clean, the bathroom modern and had lovely toiletries and our bed was super comfy.
The owners have obviously spent some money doing the place up - the new dining area is particularly lovely.
I’d like to comment on some of the other reviews I’ve seen that seem unjust;
The owners speak very little English, but were sweet and welcoming, and provided us with a great charcuterie board and large tomato salad, which saved us going out again after a long drive. (Others have noted you’re some distance from amenities- but if you look at the map and read reviews you’d know this)
Our room was at the front of the house and there is road noise. I am a light sleeper, so we closed the windows and opened the bathroom window - there was a substantial floor standing fan should you be there when it’s particularly hot.
The breakfast was more than adequate - meats, cheeses, yogurts, juices, jam, bread, brioche, pain aux raisins and croissant.
The jacuzzi was working!
This lovely family deserve great reviews.
Nothing, but I’d suggest maybe some background music, it’s a large property and feels a bit cavernous.

Very nice host, lovely dinner onsite, great garden, very comfortable room with access to netflix with our own login details.
Really enjoyed our stay.

very clean with lovely views. helpful host who was very pleasant about us arriving late.
breakfast was good but we were at a single table and very very close to the guests on either side. there was no privacy and absolutely no comfort. frankly unpleasant
