Rife Lodges

Everything! The location & views are amazing, The accommodation is exceptional & the donkey canvas on the wall was an added bonus!

N/A. Everything was perfect

The hot tub, the animals that greeted you every morning when you opened the patio doors, the house itself with everything you can need.

The only negative I can think of is the bed. It does feel like a new one is needed as doesnt seem very sturdy. Not that its stopped us coming back every year.

•Nice location with alpacas and chickens •Owners communicated well throughout stay •Clean

•Felt like there was to much chemicals in the hot tub. We reported this at the time and was told that it was tested in the morning and was ok. However, our skin felt like it was burning so we didn’t use the hot tub as much as we would have liked. •For the amount of money paid, I wouldn’t expect to be taking bins out etc.

The location was close to the beautiful town of Arundel.

The accommodation wasn’t as clean as I would expect given the rating this property has online and the price. Crumbs on table on arrival, hair and dust on hob, dirt in kitchen sink, spilt milk under fridge door and dirt in fridge, cobwebs. The photos online are also misleading. We expected to be within touching distance of the alpacas but there is a stretch of water separating the lodge from the alpacas. The alpacas and the hot tub were the two reasons we selected this property, and both unfortunately disappointed. When we got in the hot tub we felt as if we were burning, although the temperature was 38 which is average for a hot tub. I am not sure if there was an issue with the chemicals used as it caused irritation and we couldn’t stay in there for any length of time. Overall a disappointing and overpriced anniversary night away.
