The family was very welcoming, warm and funny. The house has very nice art, and a very interesting backstory. The location is great, very quiet but only 5 mins from central stuff in Bukhara. A very authentic homestay in Bukhara.
Breakfast was a bit small but very good. And the bed was quite hard but did the job for the night.

We were traveling with friends when we arrived in Bukhara, were welcomed as family, and felt like this was home away from home. I like to believe we meet people for a reason - Umeda and her beautiful family turned our short stay into an unforgettable experience. We felt comfortable, loved, and completely at home just being surrounded by these people, we were also allowed to come check in earlier, were offered to choose between the two rooms to see which one would be more convenient for our friend group, were allowed to leave our bags on the day of the check out because our train was late, could refill our bottles multiple times, had the most delicious breakfast, and were super close to the most beautiful historical sights. We got to hear stories about Shavkat Boltaev, Umeda’s husband, the talented photographer, see her son’s work as well, which turns out we photographed when we were in the city, and we even met made a friend while we were there. 10/10 experience, the only sad thing was our stay was too short and I wish we’d stayed longer, not only because of the city, but also because of the art guest house and the people that make it feel like home ❤️

Very friendly and warm hearted owner.
The noise at night and in the morning.(I think the owner family lives downstairs and they are up until quite late(which is totally normal in Uzbekistan, because of hot weather, people get active at night). I was fine with it but for the travelers who wants quiet environment after 22:00 or so, I recommend other place. As I said the owner was very nice but the bathroom for the travelers were quite poor. I would pay a little extra and stay other place next time because of that.
