5 sleeps, 3 bedrooms, 2 km from the center of Leuven, 25 km from Brussels

I got to stay at this lovely humble home with my siblings and our father, and we had such a lovely stay. It was walking distance to train, buses and some restaurants that became a favourite of ours. And it was only a short drive to go into to Leuven. The home was so comfortable, clean and quaint. The home is supplied with anything you may need and the host was great with communicating. Checkout was a breeze. I’d love to stay here again for our next visit.

Positives: This is a full house, with pots and pans and dishes where you are free to use and cook. I thought that was really nice. They also have full set of utensils and cooking as well. The location is very accessible to get around town. There's plenty of parking, and in case there's no parking you can park right in front of the house. Negatives: There was an insulation problem that An did not tell us. Moisture built up which caused mold in both the bathroom and the room at the end of the hall which affected the whole family. We all got a cough and could only attribute it to the room. The owner stated that they insulated the attic thinking that it would fix the issue, but never checked. We decided to stay downstairs in the dining room bed and just kept the door shut making our last 4-5 days uncomfortable. Laundry was in the basement, but we didn't use it as it was just the laundry and no dryer. A utility hold of €10/day will be needed. An will read utilities and calculate at the end of the stay. Overall: An was very responsive in our issues, however the solution that was offered was just a "Sorry" and also to keep the heating on with the windows open while giving us a discount to the utility bill. We still don't and won't know the long term effects of our health due to the breathing in mold. I would recommend to ask if the mold issue has been resolved before booking here, otherwise this place was fine if you're okay with everyone sharing one toilet for poops.

It was great. It's true that the only fully working toilet is downstairs (that seems to be a permanent plumbing situation), but I didn't mind.

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It was clean and comfortable, it corresponded to the imoression created by the photos in the presentation

Perfect home for family

Lovely peaceful neighbourhood close to shops restaurants and train. House was good value and host was very helpful.

An, was a very welcoming and friendly host. my colleagues were happy to live in her residence. I recommend An's house.

The home is well laid out and comfortable for a family. There is a large dinner table, in a great room open to the living area. A screened in porch off the dining area leads to an enclosed back yard, which is especially nice. There is a washer in the basement, but no dryer, which I think is typical in Belgium. The only negative we saw was a plumbing issue, that means the upstairs toilet, by the bedrooms, can only be used as a urinal. There is a small bathroom just inside the front door on the main level, with a fully functional toilet, but it has no sink. The owner was very helpful and friendly, and check in and check out were simple.
