Well equipped, clean, good price. Cheap and cheerful with off-road parking. V near hospital which unexpectedly proved very useful!
Although can sleep 6- the seating in the lounge and kitchen was set for 4 people- we were a party of 5. Also, not near city centre at all-20 min drive.

3 rooms with 2 single beds in 2 of the rooms and a double in one room. Ideal for our family of 6 with 4 kids
The double bed mattress was extremely thin and hard. The pillows were also flat and the duvet was thin. Overall the double bed was not good. But we only stayed 2 nights so it was ok. Wouldn't want to sleep on that for any longer than a night or two

We had a brilliant stay at this lovely holiday property! It was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and really well equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect—just a short drive to Peppa Pig World, which made it ideal for our family weekend away.
Communication with the owner was excellent throughout—friendly, responsive, and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for better.
Although there’s only one dedicated parking space, we had no issues using the road parking nearby. Everything was smooth and hassle-free.

If I had to mention one small thing, it would be the parking. There’s only one dedicated space, and while road parking nearby worked fine for us, we do prefer having room for two cars when travelling as a family. That said, it didn’t cause any issues during our stay and everything else was absolutely spot on.

In walking into the property, i was a bit unsure due to the gaping hole in the drain outside. The house absolutely smelt of cigarette smoke and old.smoke not just recent. I told the owner straight away.
We had to go straight out to a hospital visit so it wasn't until nearly 10pm that we were back. The whole house smelt of stone mould and damp. The downstairs toilet was the worst and should not be used due to the contamination in the air. Every room had massives of bleached mould marks. I am.astmatic and my daughter is 8 mths pregnant. We stayed 1 night as we couldn't book anywhere else and left early. I was seen for a chest infection by my gp 2 days later. Mould is a killer in asmatics. They advertise this place for babies ! The Terence is old and the table and calories damaged and unusable. The garden overgrown and unusable. The photos they are using are years old ! The damp and mould problem can not be hidden by paint and bleach. Please do not rent this property out again until it's delt with and the correct ventilation is put in for this probelm

The smell of mould and the driveway was very small for a large vehicle, the owner very kindly allowed us to park in the driveway next door.

we paid for 2 bunk beds, two single & a double. We got only one bunk meaning my dad age 83 was left on a hard sofabed as I have axial spondyloarthritis and did not want my 4 children did not wish, nor did we for them to sleep downstairs alone.
The owner did not take responsibility for the error & just said there were enough beds.
The fact stands then that I did not get the accommodation I paid for. £30 refund off over £600 for 2 nights only 5% for such an error is unacceptable. We would not have booked this accommodation had we have known the set up.
Booking.com were no help either.

The house was well presented and well equipped. Supplies like dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid, and extra bin bags and toilet roll really make things easier on arrival, only thing missing was a corkscrew! The beds were very comfortable and bedding was clean and plentiful. The house would certainly sleep 6 people easily. And there’s a sofa bed too.
The off road parking space was helpful.
Perfect location for Spire Hospital. I was having major surgery there, and my husband stayed in the house so that he was close by for visiting. It’s a 5 minute walk away. (You cut through the open side gate at the far end of staff car park, located across the road from the convenience store).
There’s a corner shop on the next street, which is open 7-9, very handy for basics. And a large M&S food store across the main road, very well stocked.
Colin, the owner, was quick to answer questions online, and very helpful and flexible with arrival times and changes.

Location was excellent. Easy to access amenities and visit New Forest and Paultons Park. Off street parking. Host was quick in responding and friendly.
The house wasn't clean. Thick dust on the skirting boards, dried food stuck on utensils holder and a very badly stained sofa. Marks on the walls and sweet wrappers that were left behind the door in the bunk room bedroom, chipped plates and at the bottom the stairs the wood has rotted round the skirting board. Photos don't reflect true state of the house. We did contact the host who did offer the cleaner to return to the property which we did decline as I had already cleaned up, plus a previous review didn't give us great confidence on how the cleaner may react. I hope future bookings don't have the same experience.
The freezer still desperately needs defrosting.

Absolutely everything we could have needed. Towels. Clean nice rooms and bathrooms. Lots of hooks and mirrors for holding our things and getting ready. Well stocked kitchen. Washer was helpful. Location was great. Off street parking. Plenty of hot water and heating was excellent.
