Apartment was perfect and the view outstanding!

Forgot my trunks!

Very welcoming and right on the river with access down private steps literally into the water.

Pack light as the steps are very steep so you do need to be able to carry your case with one hand whilst holding on to the rail to go down.

The balcony, location, comfortable ,had everything we needed.

All good.

The location was fantastic with an amazing view of the harbour from the garden and the tiny balcony. Polruan has a very special and endearing feeling. The roads are tiny and Polruan evokes the feelings of old world Cornwall

We would not really consider this property to be a self-contained apartment, it was more like a comfortable bedsit situated upstairs through someone’s own home. Unfortunately this impression did not come across in any of the description or photographs and so we were very disappointed. The beautiful view from the conservatory shown in one picture is not part of the apartment but is available to use by invitation from the owners. The garden whilst enclosed could not really be regarded as dog friendly as there is an open drop directly to the sea below so dogs are not safe to be off lead and we feel that this needs to be highlighted. There is no direct access from the apartment to the garden so you need to come through the house and down the stairs to go into it. As others have pointed out the access is extreme!
