The apartment was modern and had everything you would need. It was also spacious and great location that you could just walk into Fowey. The hosts were also very helpful
Because it’s a big room where It was once a big school the lounge part can be a little cold but the monitor is on hand to turn the heating to your preferred temperature! The bedroom was toasty!

We recently stayed at this property for two nights and unfortunately were quite disappointed overall, although there were a few positives. The location was quiet and reasonably convenient, around a 10-minute walk into the town centre. It was also useful that the accommodation included a washing machine, even though we did not end up using it.
That said, there were a number of issues that affected our stay. The parking arrangement was not as advertised. Access to the garden was via a busy public alleyway, and the parking area was located separately across this alleyway rather than directly next to the accommodation. We also needed to charge our EV, which meant running the charging cable across the public alleyway. We put cones out to try and prevent accidents, but the cable was still a trip hazard as it was not quite long enough.
Privacy was also a concern. The curtain on the front door was see-through at night when the lights were on, meaning people outside could see directly into the room.
The accommodation itself felt tired and lacking in cleanliness. There were holes in the bedding, yellowed and stained pillows without pillow protectors that were also extremely flat, making for an uncomfortable night’s sleep. The beds squeaked whenever you moved and were so uncomfortable that we both woke up with bad backs. The sofa appeared broken, possibly due to damaged springs, making it feel like you could slide off when sitting on it. The water in both the shower and bathroom sink also did not drain properly.
Noise insulation was extremely poor. What looked like a bookcase was actually a disguised door to the neighbouring room, meaning we could clearly hear conversations and even guests using the toilet next door.
The TV signal was poor and the Wi-Fi was almost unusable during our stay. Cleanliness also seemed lacking in places, with dusty areas and even a squashed dead fly left on the bathroom blind.
During our stay we were informed that the thermostat in our studio controlled heating for the whole building and other holiday rooms. We were told it had been set too high and needed turning down, despite us not having adjusted it. This made the heating situation feel awkward and unclear.
