The space was great, considerably better than a hotel.

Unfortunately the property has some damp issues which is a shame.

Great little cottage, very central in Brampton. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants and shops in Brampton. Free off-street parking just up the road. Ideal for one person or a couple.

Great place for visiting the area, proximity to shops and pubs. On a fairly busy street during day

Host left tea and biscuits and kitchen necessities such sugar and sandwich wrap. Close proximity to shops and pubs. There was a free parking lot nearby. Place was clean and well utilated.

It was noisy downstairs due to cars passing so if you plan sleeping on the sofa it might be an early wake up. The bathroom door was difficult to open and close and the TV interrupted occasionally due to the weather. I would prefer to have a smart TV so I can warch Netflix. Also, the walls near the front door had signs of humidity.

Comfortable and clean apartment in a great location.

Location was excellent, just steps away from the town center and several shops, restaurants, etc. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. I liked that it had two floors, so that the TV and kitchen were further away from the bedroom and bathroom.

The sofa bed was a bit musty (I recommend replacing the sofa). The key code we were given wasn't the correct one. We got it worked out fairly quickly by contacting the owner. The TV had limited channels.

Really good for a short and sweet stay

Stayed here for the Kielder marathon. Location was fantastic, right in the centre of Brampton. Carlise not a far drive away. Free car parking up the road. Tea and coffee sachets available and some yummy biscuits. Wifi available and TV.

So clean could eat off the floor.

So clean it's unreal, comfortable beds , great location, warm and cosy.

TV signal went afew times . Fan in bathroom not working. Check in time and out times not the best 4 pm to check in the dark winter months and 10 am check out to early. Just move the time extra hour at least. But these all little things as lovely clean place .

A lovely little cottage from which to explore Cumbria

The whole cottage was spotlessly clean. Facilities were good but hampered slightly by the small size of the kitchen (eg. no coffee machine). I found the bed comfortable and there was ample storage space. The location was excellent with shops, pubs, takeaways and bus stops all within a couple of minutes walk. An ideal location for exploring Hadrian's Wall and further afield.

I didn't particularly like the weather (not the owner's fault) and I had to pay to stay there. In other words: there was nothing not to like.

The cottage was cosy, well equipped and immaculate. Perfect location for exploring the area and the village itself was full of places to get food and drink.

The garden was sweet and could sit 2 people nicely but as the wall is so high it got no sunlight in it all. The hourly church bells took a little getting used to but was barely noticeable after a while.

Really enjoyable stay in a well equipped and modern property

Location was right in the middle of Brampton so it was only a couple of minutes walk at the most to all shops and restaurants. Property doesnt look very big from the outside but pleasantly surprised at the available space when we entered. Property was very clean and modern with a spacious bedroom. Kitchen had all the necessities so the property was ideal for no more than 2 people. Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay very much indeed but in an ideal world would be great to have on-site parking space rather than using the Public carpark 100 yds up the road, more for security reasons. Also I found the sofa a little soft as I have back issues.

Restful stay in comfortable cottage near to interesting historic sites.

The cottage is very well appointed, and is in a central location, near to small shops. Parking was free, either on- road or off -road and well indicated by the host, in advance. The neighbourhood is quiet at night. The town has good local food outlets, (self catering or eating out).The town is in easy reach of Heritage trails and historic sites of interest. The cottage was exceptionally clean and the host and the housekeeper are very helpful with details. It represents very good value and we would definitely book again.
