Bed&Breakfast Edel

Great location and a very comfortable stay. The room had everything we needed, and the air conditioning was a huge plus in the hot weather. Everything was clean, and Edel was very friendly and welcoming. Thank you, Edel, for your hospitality!

Abbiamo soggiornato qua in occasione del concerto di Olly. Posizione perfetta per raggiungere lo stadio a piedi e in poco tempo si arriva anche in centro a Genova. Stanza pulitissima, arredata benissimo e finalmente un materasso e cuscini comodi a differenza di tante altre strutture. La proprietaria molto disponibile anche per dare suggerimenti per visitare la città/mare. Anche riguardo la colazione è stata molto disponibile in quanto c'era una persona celiaca e non ci ha fatto mancare nulla. Sicuramente in un futuro se ci sarà occasione di tornare a Genova questo sarà il nostro punto di riferimento dove soggiornare.

Shared bathrooms was a big surprise though we were very lucky with other tenants in the house, and the owner cleaned it frequently. It’s just the pictures suggest every room has a big bathroom and we found it misleading. Also the lock on the door was terrible : it’s a bike lock. There’s no other assurance of safety or security. The door doesn’t close when you leave apart from the bike lock on the doorhandle. Other residents in the house were women so we weren’t too worries about the safety but I think if it was men only I’d definitely feel uncomfortable. It’s not what you expect of an B&B - more an Airbnb/flatshare experience. Also we didn’t like that, for not being a hotel, the owner accessed our room in the day. That felt intrusive. In a hotel it’s okay but this didn’t feel right Overall, mixed feelings about this place but ambience and location helped to leave a good experience.
