Fully self-contained modern 2 storey townhouse. Walking distance to Flemington Racecourse, Royal Melbourne Showgrounds and Newmarket Station. Easy access to the City, the Zoo, Hospitals, Universities, Maribyrnong River and more.

Bedroom 1. Queen bed, doona, electric blanket, walk-in robe, shower Ensuite.
Bedroom 2. Two king single beds , electric blankets, wardrobe.
Bedroom 3. One double bed, electric blankets, wardrobe
Central bathroom & separate toilet. Reverse cycle heating and cooling.
Downstairs:
Kitchen, dining & Lounge. Fully equipped kitchen with fan-forced oven & gas cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator. Dining table to seat 6 and comfy lounge. 50" flat screen TV with Chromecast, & AM/FM radio with phone adapter. Gas wall heater in lounge & reverse cycle air conditioning in the kitchen/dining area. Laundry with washer/dryer. Separate toilet.
Outside:
Spacious courtyard with BBQ, table and chairs, clothes line and off street parking for one car.
Close to all that Melbourne has to offer, yet in a quite secluded location.

Excellent property
Charan Lane suited our needs for our trip to the Melbourne Cup walking distance to the course, train to the city a short walk away and a small shopping centre with everything we needed. Some great restaurants also close buy, thoroughly recommend - Barbara, Brisbane

I am very pleased with our stay in Charan Lane @ Kensington. It was a very nice location, with good views and nice walk-through surroundings. We found it a pleasantly quiet location, considering being so close to the buzzing Melbourne CBD. The house was so inviting, clean and has a homey and welcoming atmosphere. It was a good place to rest after a day of exploring the city. The information folder @ the house provided a great guide to local food, shops and things to do during our stay. The free wi-fi at the house was an additional bonus worth mentioning. Anne provided excellent directions, and very good communications throughout. We will be sure to use Charan Lane again. - Bianca

We've stayed at Charan Lane several times and each time has been delightful. Great location and facilities. Very quiet yet easily accessible to the city. Anne is lovely! Would highly recommend - Lee - Sydney

We had a great stay in Charon Lane @ Kensington. The house was perfect for the 6 of us - clean, comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with all the utensils we needed. The hosts were very helpful, replied promptly to our questions and have clearly thought carefully about making the accommodation like a home from home.The location was also excellent - close to shops and cafes and only 5-10 mins walk to Newmarket train station.We would definitely recommend it and indeed we hope to stay there again!

I was looking for somewhere walking distance to flemington racecourse, to leave the car for a few days, and get good nights sleep and this wonderful little house was perfect. Well maintained and clean, easy to access and all instructions on gaining entry well explained.It was an awesome and stress free stay.
