THE perfect stay

When we arrived at the house we could not believe our own eyes. Everything exceeded our expectations. The peace that the house radiates and the view of the mountains and the beautiful Lyngenfjord is impossible to surpass. The house was spotless. The kitchen is simply perfect. The beds are excellent so that we had a perfect night's sleep. In addition, Tommy, the very friendly owner, is extremely helpful and always and easily accessible. His father is a fisherman and we bought from him the most tasteful halibut. Tommy gave us very useful tips to explore this magnificent corner of Norway. Am I exaggerating that this was our best stay ever? No!

Everything was just perfect. With 6 kids and two dogs it was very nice location. Beautiful views. Tommy was very helpful and was always there if we needed something to ask.

Only little thing was difficult: The front yard was a little bit dangerous for our 1 year old because there was a steep hill and there wasnt any barrier there.

Absolutely amazing place. Beautiful view to the sea and mountains. The cabin has a nice big terrace and a big yard. Nice private feeling since no other houses right next to the cabin. Very handy storage room in a separate building. Overall very well equipped cabin. Really enjoyed staying here and want to come back. Tommy is a really friendly and helpful host. Thanks again for everything. Highly recommend!

Good View from living room to Northern Lights. Helpful host.

Northern Lights only visible once per week during our trip. Not the fault of anyone :-). Plus degrees during our stay, better in March for skiing I was told by ski rental.

Anazing host and a perfect cabin!

Absolutely amazing property with a lovely and extremely helpful host! I can’t recommend it enough, it was a fantastic trip! The log fire keeps the cabin warm and cosy for the colder nights and the cabin is in the perfect location to see the northern lights, we saw them twice during our stay! The cabin overlooks the water with a perfect view of the mountains and surrounding areas. It was quiet and peaceful with no properties overlooking to give you the perfect sense of privacy. The cabin also has an amazing shower to warm you up along with a heated bathroom floor for if you have cold feet after a walk in the snow. The bedrooms were warm and cosy and you don’t feel the cold at all. it truly is a magical place to stay! what makes it even better is the host, Tommy, who gave fantastic advice on the weather conditions, roads and local area. Tommy checked we were okay throughout the stay and helped with anything he could, making the trip extra special! I highly recommend trying the fish that his father catches and prepares it was super tasty! The cabin is in the perfect location for local hikes, trips and amenities. There are two local shops just down the road stocking everything you could need. We also highly recommend the snowmobile trips! Thank you so much Tommy for an amazing stay in your perfect cabin! I’m sure our family and friends will be staying in the near future!

Good spot for seeing northern lights by literally just walking out of the door. Very cozy ambience with oven. Super happy with choosing this very place. The house is well suited for a family holiday and the hosts make you immediately feel welcome. The view is exceptional and our kids loved to collect shells and sea urchins, watch porpoises, birds, and sheep.

Cosy and spacious bungalow with one of the most amazing views we have had on our travels. All you hear is the stream and birds. Well positioned to discover the Lyngen alps area. Tommy is on top of that a really great host, makes you feel at home and always happy to help. A week there was not enough :).

It was the best house that we stayed during a week in Norway! The house has a nice view, and it had all amenities that we need. Tommy was a very nice host! highly recommend! Definitely will come back in the real summertime, May is not the best month for traveling in Norway I think 🧐, the weather was not good still a bit cold, but not many tourists😆.

A comfortable house in a beautiful spot

This was the best place we stayed during our week in Norway. Tommy was the most helpful host, keeping in touch throughout our stay and even giving us some fresh cod as a welcome gift. We are very grateful for your hospitality, Tommy! The house itself is wonderful. It has sweeping views over the fjord from the living room (perfect for aurora spotting) and ample space for four to sleep comfortably. The kitchen is very well-stocked, lots of towels were provided, and we even had a go on the sleds and snow shoes. We wouldn't hesitate to come back again, and hope to return soon! In the local area we'd absolutely recommend a visit to the Aurora Spirit Distillery, just down the road. We went along for the 2pm tour and had a really lovely time.

Awesome place and stay

Beautiful, cosy home in the heart of the fjords, super comfortable beds and lots of space. Outstanding view of the mountains and turquoise water from the living room and outdoor terrace. This was perfect for our little mother-daughter getaway. Tommy was very friendly, super responsive and helpful host (with great local recommendations if the area). Highly recommend to everyone !

הכללללל!!!! הבית הכי מושלם שהיה לנו בכל נורבגיה ובמיקום הכי מושלם בעולם!!!! הביקתה גדולה ומפנקת. יש בה הכל. המיקום בנוף עוצר נשימה, בסמוך לנהר, צופה על הים, הרים מושלגים סביבינו. מקום חובה אם אתם רוצים לחוות את הטבע במלוא עוצמתו ובמיקום יוצא מגדר הרגיל! המארח היה מקסיםםםםםם! ראינו זוהר שהבעיר את כל ההרים באזור, אין זיהום אור אז לאלו שרוצים לצלם זוהר- זה המקום!!!

Een droom!

We waren hier voor de tweede keer, want vorig jaar was alles zo goed meegevallen dat we besloten om terug te komen. Alles in het huis is kraakproper, mooie slaapkamers, grote, volledig uitgeruste keuken, een grote badkamer, een ruime zitplaats en een groot balkon met prachtig uitzicht vanaf het huis op de majestueuze Lyngenfjord en de omringende bergwereld. Tommy, de eigenaar van het huis, is een uiterst vriendelijke en zeer behulpzame man. Hij is een onuitputtelijke bron van informatie en weet alles over wat er te zien en te doen is in de Lyngenalpen.

Traumurlaub im Traumhaus, einfach nur unglaublich schön hier Urlaub zu machen.

Das Haus lag wunderschön am Lyngen Fjord. Der Ausblick ist traumhaft. Die Terasse und das mit diesem Panorama haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses lies kein Wünsche offen, alles war da, Waschmaschine, Trockner, Geschirrspüler, einfach unglaublich. Der Besitzer Tommy war immer sofort für alle Fragen zur Stelle, dafür nochmal ein ganz großes Dankeschön für die Hilfe und den Angelausflug!!! Wir hatten noch nie eine so schöne Unterkunft mit so einem Erholungsfaktor. Die abendlichen Strandspaziergänge, angeln am Ufer auf Dorsch, Pollack und Heilbutt waren die Krönung des Ganzen. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Vue magnifique et logement bien équipé

Superbe hébergement ! Très bien équipé que ce soit niveau cuisine ou confort. La vue est magnifique depuis le salon. Très bon contact avec le propriétaire et réponse rapide. Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir observer les aurores boréales durant tout le séjour. Si vous voulez passer un bon séjour c'est l'endroit idéal !
