Chambre modeste mais on le savait en réservant. La salle de bain est minuscule et il est impossible d’y prendre une douche.

This was an exceptional bed and breakfast, the roads had a few accidents that caused us arrive 1 minute before 23:00, and the host was still gracious enough to show us the facilities. The room we stayed in was large and comfortable, the bed had ample room for the two of us, andthe bathroom was a great size with extremely clean facilities. Breakfast was provided and was a lovely way to be welcomed to bulgaria after our drive from England. Also phenomenally close to the castle ruins! (Also dog friendly)

As someone quite worried about disturbing other occupants, the floorboards are a bit squeaky. But thats pretty niche and shouldn't stop anyone from staying.

Such a warm welcome from the host, giving us lots of useful information and offering us a better room for the same price. A quirky little b and b with some excellent features. Comfortable (if a little squeaky bed). Delicious homemade banitza with yoghurt and blueberry jam for breakfast. Great location next to the fortress and only short walk down to town centre. Highly recommend.
