Brincliffe Cottage

Location. Spacious and clean.

The email we received the week before contained two untruths. Firstly, it clearly and unambiguously stated that to arrange key collection you had to ring one of two numbers. We rang them both once a day for three days, nobody answered. we left messages indicating which mobile number to contact or text. Nobody used that number to let us know, We had to ring Booking.com at the 11th hour. Please do not give instructions about key collection that are out of date or inaccurate. If you give contact numbers, make sure someone will answer. Secondly the cottage details and email state that we had to use public paid parking. In the cottage, though, it states that there is complementary parking with a permit. There was no permit. Not all this contradictory information could be correct. Most other cottages had complementary parking.

When I booked it stated there was parking but sadly there was not. No tea/coffee

A warm and cosy cottage after a long days hike in the heart of the village.

We were told the nearby parking was not available at the last minute so worth checking before you book. There was also no dust pan and brush or spatula!
