Bluebird Cottage

A lovely little place surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. If you want somewhere away from everything to enjoy peace , quiet and fresh air this is perfect!! The hosts were fantastic and easy to contact if needed, locals who know the area really well and can answer any questions you may have. We really enjoyed our short break away from the noise of towns, with lovely walks available in every direction . The local towns are easily accessible and easy to drive to. Our morning brew was very much enjoyed either outside in the shared garden or at the front with the company of the goats and donkeys. We highly recommend

Communication with the owners was superb and replied promptly. Bluebird Cottage was like Home from Home, spotlessly clean and well furnished. The owners introduced themselves shortly after arrival and wanted to know if we needed anything. A complimentry bowl of fresh eggs, milk and bottles of cold water awaited our arrival. As we were self catering, everything you could need was avalable in the kitchen. The beds were super comfortable and the shower provided strong hot jets of water. Plenty of parking right by the cottage and a huge grassed garden area in which to relax.

It was our second visit to bluebird cottage. The location is perfect for exploring the Peak District, feels completely peaceful and secluded, but it’s close to main roads. It’s a cosy, well equipped cottage, with donkey and goats on your doorstep. The local pub in Parwich is also amazing.
