A very nice and cozy place, great location, great price.

The room was large and very nice. There was a nice desk and space to hang up clothes and drawers, so I felt very at home. My room opened right on to the swimming pool. The place has a very cozy, homey vibe, and I loved that they free filtered water, both hot and cold, and coffee. The staff are very friendly and kind. It's quiet and peaceful since it's at the end of a small side street, but you're one block from a very busy street with lots of restaurants and stores and places to hang out.

Ant infestation and issues with cleanliness.

The guesthouse is well located, next to many cafes and restaurants. It is rather quiet.

My stay was very unfortunate. It was stressful to handle. The first night, they placed me in a room on the top floor. It was lacking of natural light and the wifi was too weak to use it. They said that it was just for the first night so it was fine. The shower of the first room was better than the other room but needs some renovation. The second night, the room had natural lights. It was all ok until evening… Ant infestation from the wall (big ants). It was late at night so no staff was there, everyone was back home. The owner was not reachable. The guesthouse has only one staff to take care of the rooms and cleaning. Fortunately, I could reach the staff but she could not do anything. I evacuated urgently all my stuffs. It was impossible for me to sleep in there. I asked for a room change and finally, through a friend of the staff, I was changed to the room next to it. I could not sleep. Stains on the bed sheets. I placed one of my clothes on the pillow. The soap was not replaced for a while (my hands were very smelly using it), the shower was full of limestones falling down, like flakes… the toilet was broken and dirty. Spider webs in the wall. As it was late, I asked the next day for a deep cleaning. To my surprise, the only staff was off and the owner was also busy with celebration. The owner was never reachable… I have waited the whole afternoon for my room to be cleaned and asked for solutions. No solution was provided. So I decided to quit the guesthouse and stay somewhere else and asked for a refund. I write this review not to blame, but in the hope that the guesthouse reaches for deep improvements. For a guesthouse that has high rate on Booking, I was very disappointed for obvious reasons: - The cleanliness of the room and the state of the bathrooms of the room. All 3 bathrooms need some maintenance and to be renovated. Bed sheets and towels should be deeply cleaned, no stains on it. - The management of the guesthouse.

Extremely impressed

Very accommodating, trustworthy and flexible staff. We were able to check in when it suited us and they were really helpful with finding services nearby like scooter rental. Very clean and quiet accomodation. It was extra nice to have the pool to relax at! After backpacking Indonesia for a month it felt very homely staying at Sanata!

Really good place to stay

I really enjoyed my stay here, it's spacious and bright and close to pretty much everything. I actually stayed one more week because it felt nice and safe.

The bathroom doesn't have windows and sometimes I heard roosters early in the morning. Not every morning like in some other places but still... I guess they are inevitable in Bali. But overall one of the best places I stayed in while traveling around Bali.

I really enjoyed this place and I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable, a simple but nice Indonesian bathroom. Location is amazing. Walking distance to all sorts of nice cafes, restaurants and spas. 20min walk to the beach. Within the craziness of Canggu this feels like a nice and authentic Balinese guesthouse

A good time in the center on Canggu

Very cute accommodation in the center of Canggu. A lot of nice dining options are close by and the beach is 10 minutes away. The next gym is also only 3 minutes away. They also have a pool and provide free drinking water. The staff was very polite and helpful.

I personally don't like canggu. It's crazy busy with tourists. Street is always busy and noisy. Houses for tourists were and are still build everywhere. This location is medium quiet as the street is not far. With ear plugs you hear absolutely nothing that's fine

Absolutely fabulous. Highly Recommend.

Absolutely fabulous. The staff is incredibly helpful. There is a CLEAN pool and a GAMELAN that you can play anytime you want which was a unique Bali experience. The walls are thick and so we never heard any other guests, and slept very well. Even though it’s in the wild part of Canggu, close to all the modernity and partying, we never were disturbed. This place is truly tranquil. The pool has floaties and chairs. There is a lovely basic kitchen and FREE cold or hot water all the time which is a game changer and so necessary to save on plastic waste and stay hydrated. There are some cute doggies next store. There is a yoga shala upstairs and they even offered an extra yoga mat for my husband. The view from upstairs is truly gorgeous. The staff is extremely kind and sweet and will help you with anything. They will clean your room and even ask you if it’s okay. We will definitely be staying here again. We loved everything. Thanks especially to Adi and the other women who run the place. You are very special. It’s not a party place and the quiet atmosphere and other chill guests made our stay fabulous. They even contacted us to welcome us weeks before we got there. Super lovely. Highly recommend. We love Sanata Yoga Guesthouse. Beaches are 15 minutes walk.

The wifi could be better, but it’s an island so it’s to be expected. No big deal. We had SIM cards so it was still possible to work and make calls to friends and family. Highly recommend getting a SIM card in Bali airport, don’t get scammed by buying a used SIM card at an unauthorized shop. :D We love Sanata Yoga Guesthouse. High traffic area. Beach is 15 min walk (not a beachfront property like the booking says)

They asked about our time of arrival and started the air-conditioner running 2 hours before we got there. That was really sweat. The hotel is in the center, walkable to everything. Pool was nice and clean

perfect people, perfect rooms at a perfect location. best value. the rooms have a nice size, AC works properly, the bed is comfy, the shower is great. water is free and you get a lot of genuine smiles from the staff daily. the place is quite central, you can walk/drive/cycle anywhere. plenty of great restaurant options around.

Exceeded my expectations !

I loved everything at Sanata! Right in the heart of Canggu, but still quiet as it’s at the end of a side street. The room was so spacious and right next to the pool! Quiet and lovely atmosphere, perfect if you want to relax and breathe out 😌. Ari and her staff were the nicest people, I wasn’t feeling well and they drove me to both, the medical center Canggu as well as all the way to the hospital in Denpasar! And that early in the morning. God bless these people. I can only recommend Sanata Yoga Guesthouse to everyone. 10/10! Thanks guys, all the best for you ♥️

Pleasant stay with friendly family run homestay

Staff is super friendly and helpful. U can cook if want to, coffee is available in the kitchen. Near to many warung and cafes. Good value for money, the room is spacious and has daily clean if u requested.

The sign is small, a little bit hard to find. The shower is cold, as no heater installed. The pool water could be cleaner.
