The host's father waited for us with the keys and with a large bowl of fresh cherries. The apartment is in the middle of the old town - but not in the ZTL. We were lucky to find a free parking place nearby. (White line). Warning: driving in Sicily is not for the faint hearted. If you rent a car, choose a small one. The streets are VERY narrow. Don't always trust navigation systems, they are not always up to date.
June weather is hot, not ideal for city sightseeing. Choose an earlier date.
