Barberry Hill

log fire, a full kitchen, peace and quiet of the farm, the raw milk in the bottle in the fridge, the comfortable couches and bed. The garage which was under the accommodation all internal access. The host was very friendly and we only saw her once the 2 days we were there. We were hoping a cow near the house would calve but alas she didn't. It was a cold windy & wet winter weekend so perfect for hunkering down with the fire going and purely relaxing. Just what we needed. The breakfast supplies were abundant.

all the windows that open need a really good clean around the frames, as they had a build up of mildew and mould from the condensation. These windows were the ones not double glazed. The deck could do with a good scrub or water blast. The 1 ply toilet paper. Maybe keep some insect spray in the kitchen as when we arrived we had to get rid of a very big wasp.

Amazing location and view. Loved the accommodation especially the dining table and kitchen. Brilliant for cooking and sharing our evening meals with our 2 travelling companions who stayed in the other unit. The log burner was lovely.

Unfortunately it turned very cold.

Lovely country side/ working farm location. Ample parking for our vehicles and trailers.

The only thing that would be helpful for a group staying - our group of four used both studio accomodation rooms; would be having a seperate bedroom space, as sharing one space was the only downside for us.
