Everley Cottage

Th cottage is very spacious inside. Th garden is huge and as great for our toddler to run around in.

Quirky property with lovely views and a lovely bath at the end of the day, was a bonus having 2 separate shower/toilet areas.

Beautiful location. Well equipped cottage. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided. WiFi. Fantastic rear garden with amazing views however the only access was via the master bedroom. Beautiful walks in the nearby woods. Short drive to Scarborough centre.

Not clear that a bedroom was on the mezzanine above the lounge. Sleep was disturbed when others were in the lounge or kitchen. Not suitable for children or adults with poor mobility. Heating appeared to be on a timer and unable to adjust. Main bathroom/toilet was smelly. No frying pan. There was evidence of some damp in the property.

Good value for money everything in the kitchen that you needed lovely touch leaving welcome biscuits Nice garden with open views for grandaughter to play in.

Cottage had a distinct damp smell on arrival and beds felt damp and cold at night. Extractor in wet room not working no windows in there to open. Towel rail not working either so towels wet once used no others only if you paid £20 .There was a open fire only 2 small logs left got chilly in evening. And a fire would have been welcoming however no fire lighters left as suggested to help light fire Bed upstairs on mezzanine floor advertised as a single, however not suitable for a child or elderly person due to staircase being steep and highwe found this out when we arrived as there was a notice on the stairs which caused a issue with sleep arrangements File left with all instructions needs updating different info contradicting no cafe open next door unsure of where to leave keys on departure
